here is what you need to know before coming to this location
lots and lots of restrooms I mean lots and lots of restrooms let me repeat this restrooms with even a changing room for newborn pamper change if needed
they have restrooms downstairs restrooms upstairs which is rather quite impressive
so the way this place works they have limited parking so you're going to have to find parking on the street caddy corner to the Wells Fargo next door although they save you and probably park in the Wells Fargo parking lot after hours and not get towed but cannot guarantee that so you're going to be usually parking on the street and that's going to be 80% which you couldn't theory just park and what is the HEB parking lot that HEB moved out of after finishing their building across the street and carefully cross the street as well to get to this location
that being said this was a venue posting a event that was attending so I was actually quite packed with lots of people networking inside and outside
to get food cuz it would have been an extensive waiting periods I just got a drink found something interesting which was a cherry flavored karma drink that I've only seen once before but this one was different where you pop the lid from the top push down into the water bottle shake it up pop its contents even more and it creates a fresh gut healthy beverage which I thought was different
customer service staff for doing the best to keep up with the people lining up so really wasn't a way to line them up really per se although they have done a great job maximizing every square inch of space inside and outside this place with plenty of tables sitting area Wi-Fi outlets and a relaxing environment overall outside as well with plenty of dying and area around the tree
they have an upstairs area but no elevator so keep dynamite especially for handicap accessibility I would say this place is definitely not handicap accessible by any means you have very little room to navigate in and out of the restrooms in and on the first floor and definitely not up those stairs and the stairs are very narrow so keep that in mind
this place has a very unique vibe where it wants to be sort of Irish and rustic but then Mediterranean and then like something else entirely it's got a unique combination of Italian foods Mediterranean foods a variety of alcoholic beverages wine beverages coffees and then let me express this a lot of coffee
also I need restroom and all over the place they express their different specials on giro for lunch or a happy hour specials on various drinks especially between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. you can get a coffee special beverage and some of their signature milk taken customized into your coffee beverage
what I saw down so I had a very large variety of croissants including some very tempting desserts such as a chocolate-filled croissant with even more chocolate on top and sugar and an almond croissant with the special sweet almond sauce inside as well with powdered sugar all day in addition to the mornings
this is one of those menus that's open in the morning early and open late at night and they have no problem pasting their hours over all over the place of the restrooms and apparently have that I mention lots and lots of restrooms for men and women
also they have areas on the second floor you can block off for special events and outside as well to come block off for special events like tonight plenty of tables outside to network
this place is also been awarded in the past a perfect place to bring a date for a date night by some independent award I'm not too familiar with so bringing your date here is definitely a thing and there were definitely some couples here tonight
also despite amount of people customer service is doing a great job during one gal to keep the place nice and clean and organized and tend to people's needs quickly get to drinks checked in and apparently they have a rewards program as well where you can just quickly register your phone number save up points

Read moreYears ago, we used to bank at Wells Fargo which is the current location of Freddo. I was curious to see how the mansion had been transformed and they did a nice job. I have been here twice and I have not ever seen this place packed although they have tons of seating available. Maybe I have just come on different days. At any rate, we received a coupon for a buy one, get one free breakfast so after looking at the flyer, we decided, why not? The flyer displayed pancakes so I had them on the brain when we arrived only to discover that they do not actually have pancakes on the menu. Maybe they were at some point? If so, they should re-do their flyers as that is technically false advertisment. Not to be deterred, we decided on the brioche and ham sandwich, chicken wings (no, that is not a typo) and waffle and the everything bagel with lox. We ordered everything and not only did I forget to tell the cashier that we wanted our food to go, but he also did not ask. When we received our food on paper plates, I realized my error and asked if he could pack them to go and he directed me to the styrofoam containers so that I could box them myself. I wish I had not given him a 20% tip at that point, because, did he really earn it? When we got home, the food was good, not great, but my husband did not like his sandwich as the eggs had a green tint to them. We called and whoever answered the phone explained it away by saying it was the yolk... The place is cute, but there are so many AMAZING coffee shops like Proud Mary's in town, that there will not be a need for a...
Read moreI really wish they would hire someone to steer this place right (NOT by tearing it down or modernizing it.) The victorian home is beautiful and unique and they should lean into the victorian vibe with more 1800s-leaning decor & furniture, if this gave a true gothic queen anne maximalist oddity manor vibe (historical restoration, maintenance, and moodier lighting) this would be everyone’s top spot. Please match the music to the vibe, softer/calmer acoustic instrumentals would make it a dream to study inside… lastly hire real baristas with real equipment (the coffee is in NEED of help) & be pickier about your musicians -hiring folk, jazz/blues/swing/big band, baroque pop, cabaret, soul, instrumental ambient bands, & older americana sounds would suit the queen anne building more than taylor swift & wheatus covers. Make the food worth the high costs. LEAN into what you have, hire a knowledgeable person with a keen eye for aesthetic and history. Throw out the wayfair furniture & graffiti art gallery walls. Make it slightly spooky but not cheesy dammit. Anyone would agree. As of now no one is celebrating freddo’s like they could
