We visited Tapsville ahead of a concert at the Moody Center and I wish we had had as good a time as some of these other reviews. Our waitress was very accommodating and helped us with our questions. She had grew energy. Overall, all the staff were very kind and made the overall experience nice. The tap wall was great and it was fun to sample different beers and ciders before our meal came out. For drinks, this place is quite good and I’d recommend them for sure. We came around Halloween and there was a limited menu that was not specified until we’d sat down already. This was a disappointment as we had intended to come for wings but were limited to the very short menu. Despite that, we ordered some good pretzel bites and cheese dip. The burger I ordered medium came out closer to medium rare, which was fine with me. It was very oily and left the bun soggy by the half way point. The fries were crispy on the outside but limp and bendy underneath. Without ketchup, the fried would have been quite bland too. The worst part of the meal was the silverware. It was covered in water marks and I found multiple pieces of dried food over two sets of knives a forks. Hopefully in the future the cutlery can be a bit cleaner.

We went to tapville for lunch before going to the history museum and had an amazing time! The staff was extremely friendly and well staffed. Chef Nate even came out to say hi and get our feedback on the food. The atmosphere is really fun and inviting. Fancy enough for a dressed-up meal and casual enough to wear your cutoffs if that’s the afternoon you’re havin. The tap wall is really extensive - beers, sangria, wine, cold brew coffee! They also had a great cocktail list and a full bar if that’s more your vibe. We went with our kiddos and they even had a kid’s menu with crayons. They have a seating area in the back that could be great for a big group (like 15-20 people groups!!). The bathrooms are really clean and single-person.

Tapville This is the soft opening, so I’m excited to see how it improves over time. On Wednesday, they have half the taps, which is a huge plus! It’s going to be a great spot to unwind after work. Honestly, I think it might be a bit pricey for what it offers, but I think the location might be a factor. It’s definitely going to be a popular spot, especially once the patio furniture is added! Food we tried: Santa Fe Eggroll - okay Elote - okay Fries - good Chicken bacon ranch Wrap - which had crispy tortilla( but need to eat it quick it doesn’t get soggy from the tomato- good

I arrived tonight to try this place and on arrival we had to wait for 10 minutes to just find a person to seat us then the hostess was rude when I mentioned we had been waiting finally seated in a empty place and took 12 minutes for the waitress ginny to acknowledge for drinks..so by now I'm already wondering if there is a poker game in the back or something because clearly customer service is not a priority..food was ok...nothing stood out..atmosphere was ok..nothing to write home about..overall i would not revisit...too many other places that are much better in this area especially keeping the customer...
