Taco joint in a hotel open late. Ate here a few times since we were staying at the Moxy and it was super convenient. Highlights: brisket taco and the churros (skip the choco hazelnut dip- it’s just Nutella lol). Loved the pickled onion on the taco. Churros were nice and airy. Pass on the breakfast tacos and the Zombie burrito. Too much going on. We were a little confused when we first tried to order, it was pretty busy since it was later in the night and the bar was pretty lively. We were directed by hotel staff to the touchscreen where your food. There were no options to customize your order (ex: no cheese, no onions, etc.). Seating is in the hotel.

24 hour tacos located in the lobby of your hotel? Yes please! Highly recommend the 3 tacos for $10 special (otherwise $4 each). Tacos are on the smaller side but super flavorful and each is so different. We ordered the thick cut jalapeño bacon, braised brisket, charred Korean steak, and pork carnita! Fave was probably the brisket. Order at counter and pick up at counter. If you don't want to enter hotel, you can order to go at the window on Guadalupe Street - brilliant concept! Did I mention the taco bar is next to Bar Moxy in the lobby? Win Win!!

We made a quick stop for food before hitting up co-op for our Longhorn gear. We ordered the 3 for $13 deal. You use a self service device to place your order. The tacos were flavourful with just the right amount of spice. As another reviewer mentioned the shells are not warm, so if that’s what you prefer I’m sure you can ask. The “restaurant” was located in a trendy hotel called the Moxy. The place was welcoming and clean with a nice outdoor area to eat, socialize and play some games.

We ordered breakfast tacos this morning before checking out of the Moxy. We placed our order at the screen in front. There was no person to ask questions to, so we just ordered them to go. It wasn't a long wait. The tacos were made fresh and ready to go. The first problem we encountered was the packaging. We ordered 4 tacos to go for 3 people. 3 tacos were neatly stacked in a box unwrapped, and the 4th one was wrapped alone. I appreciate the attempt to minimize packaging and waste, but the problem here was that these tacos were for different people. We thought ordering them to go, they would each come wrapped separately. The tacos themselves were ok. They are a bit pricey at $5 each for the size of taco. They come with corn tortillas that are good but tore easily. The salsa was ok, no heat, though. If you're expecting a flavorful spicy experience, this is not it. Overall, the tacos...

Real disappointing service and things like cold tacos slide but not when you start with poor service. To the gentleman who chose to be rude, curt and speak over me before getting one word out, buck up. Realize someone under that roof chose to open a taco shop not from Texas in a Texas Taco Town. This is already an uphill battle for your boss, mix in rent on the drag in the middle of a freaking pandemic and they're probably climbing up that hill with one leg. If you don't care for your job, if serving customers is too tough for you, move on. I'm sure the person that writes your checks is sleeping peacefully somewhere in this town believing they hired the kind of people they feel properly represent their brand. Maybe you should show up to work in zombie face paint and just growl at us. This would be expected with a zombie interaction, not with a human to human...

This place is NOT 24 hours as we walked in at 12:15 am Saturday 1/13/24 and there was a guy sitting at a table that worked there who said they only serve hotel guest after midnight so labeling themselves as 24 hours is not cool considering we went out of our way to go here, paid for parking, walked in the cold to get there, then got turned away as we weren’t hotel guest. We were also turned away from the restroom becuase they were “closed to outside guests” which had they been serving food as they label themselves to be, we would have been paying guest and it wouldn’t have been a problem. Poor service and false advertising! Please update your...
