So we will be taking a break from Ruth Chris Aventura until they get management that understands when you spend $230 for 2 people for dinner you dont want to feel like your at Mc Donald's. We sat a bar, restaurant was only partly full and bar area was pretty full we sat a bar, and a booth in corner 2 women drinking and allowing 2 children to scream at top of lungs climb on furniture and be a total nusiance then allowed dogs in restaurant barking at the bar. Both Florida Law and Aventura law say only true disability dogs are allowed inside restaurants the law actually says service dogs are only to be outside unless city has other laws but Aventura is clear only real service dogs, the kind wearing a vest that says do not touch, not dogs jumping on laps getting fed at bar and literally barking realy disability dogs do not act that way they are trained. The staff said that management won't do anything, and I really feel bad for the employees as even people like us that love the food can't believe the management just doesn't care. When Manager finally came up after we asked for manger 3 times after we paid . Its very bizarre mangers will not come up when you ask for them they wait til after you pay because they are worried you want a credit we wanted to enjoy dinner in peace instead I came home with a headache. So manager finally comes up with chef I said do you hear kid screaming and running through restaurant she just ran face first into a window by front door ( hostess saw it)and her mom is sitting in bar area with no visual at all on the child who was approx 3 her brother about 5 was climbing on furniture etc. I have no problem with well behaved children directly behind us was a table of 4 children perfectly behaved but allowing children to run scream jump on furniture is not why I spend a few hundred dollars to go to Ruth's Chris ,I could have gone to chuckle cheese. The upper management needs to look at videos we left by 620pm June 6 2025, clearly the chef looked upset as he came out with the inexperienced manager and I told him our food was amazing I had jumbo lobster my husband steak but the happy hour vibe was completely ruined by management that doesn't understand that no one should be disturbing others and dogs barking and kids running in the bar may be reason you are not as full as you used to be.
Ruth's Chris was always a classy place tonight it was like chuckie cheese but with better food. ( we really did enjoy our food it's management that location has issue with actually managing location )
One of the employees even said even when they feed dogs at bar no one does anything. I feel bad for your employees as lack of management I'm sure is effecting what they make as there are so many other restaurants people will give up on Ruth's Chris until it managers learn...
Read moreI always write a Review whether my experience was amazing or it was not. My recent visit to Ruths Chris in Aventura, Florida has to be one of the BEST Restaurant Experiences I've had in my 66 Years on Earth. Some might say that "its a chain" so it can't be that great. TOTALLY UNTRUE!!! Its all about the Mission of making sure you experience the Best of the Best. Here in Aventura that was absolutely the case. My wife and I have never been to a Ruth's Chris. I'm an avid Chef and believed that nobody could make a Steak better than me. Since it was a Special Birthday we decided to take a "Stab" at a Ruths Chris Steak with its 1800 Degree Cooking Method. Not only was the Meat exceptionally tender and flavorful but that cooking process sealed in the juices and the Butter just made it that much more enjoyable. I should not jump ahead quite yet about the food. We were greeted at the door by the Manager Gabriel who treated us like we were family....literally...no joke. There were smiles and pleasantries abounding en route to our table. Gabriel assured us that because this was a very special occasion he had assigned his BEST Server Naveen (who also happens to work as a Manager and also studied restaurant Management). Naveen was an absolute joy and explained everything imaginable about the wonderful journey were about to embark upon. We ordered the Ruths Choice Menu which included either their Sumptuous Lobster Bisque or their House or Caesar Salad. We decided to try the Caesar and the Bisque and share. Naveen delightfully offered to split up the soup in two bowls and did the same for the Caesar Salads. The Portions, even being split were huge! The Caesar was homemade had the right mix of Garlic, Anchovies, Lemon and sliced Parmesan. Magnifico!!! The Lobster Bisque was succulent, creamy, with a hint of Brandy and a nice Lobster flavour. Delicious!! The Petite Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail were absolutely amazing. You could taste the difference a high quality steak makes and it was perfectly cooked. The Lobster Tail tasted just like it was caught moments ago and broiled to perfection. Tender, Moist, Flavorful. After a brief break we chose to have our dessert which was included and opted for the Raspberry / Strawberry Cheesecake. Since it was my Special Birthday I was also given the choice of ANY Dessert and chose the Bread Pudding. It was tender and moist with the right amount of cinnamon, sweetness, raisins a bit of crunch at the top and melt in your mouth flavour. A perfect and wonderful experience. I highly recommend going to Ruths Chris in Aventura. The experience may be equally good at other locations but this one made us feel like VIP's. Thank You Gabriel, Naveen and the nice young ladies at the Maitre D Desk for a...
Read moreWorst experience I have ever had at a Ruth's Chris.
Ruth's Chris could learn something from McDonald's when it comes to terms of consistency. Myself and two friends met at this location to enjoy a nice steak. All 3 of us each ordered a porterhouse for dinner. When things finally came from the kitchen each steak was already chopped up. On top of the chopped meat as a porterhouse steak I always order mine Med Rare at MOST. When my friend called for the manager to tell us why the steaks were mutilated he informed us that the menus description says the steak serves two people so their cook cut it up for sharing....? Next, when I asked the manager to tell me as to how my steak looked for cooking temperature he said... Well or maybe Med Well...When I informed him that I ordered it Med Rare at most he told me that the 500 degree plate likely overcooked the meat.... (Never had that issue before and its not my first dining experience at a Ruth's Chris)...Oh, and both of my friends steaks were the wrong temperature as well... I felt so sorry for the beautiful animal who gave its life for my mutilated dinner I decided to choke down the well done steak as I never send anything back to a kitchen as not to allow for any additional issues. (Resturant stories are real)
Now, the manager did replace one of my friends steaks (who happens to love Ruth's Chris and choose this meeting location) as he was very upset with everything this Ruth's Chris location had to offer from service, to location, to parking, to the actual food. When I told the manager I don't send things back and I will choke it down he seemed accommodating at the time and offered to get us whatever we wanted, he suggested another round of drinks, desert... However, the manager did nothing but misleadingly upsell the table as we determined upon reviewing the bill. Eventually, my friends steak arrived in time for us to bag it to go before we left...not sure if he ever got to eat.
In short, poor example of a Ruth's Chris location and Ruth's Chris corporate could learn something from MCDONALD'S when it comes to consistency.
If in the area... Pass on the experience here as this location has little offer other than a bastardtization of the Ruth's Chris brand and there are sooo many other options...
