We went on Saturday night and really enjoyed it . We were greeted and sat right away. Our server was very nice and went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant experience. Sadly I didn’t catch her name but I remember her mentioning that she was Peruvian. The first thing we ordered was the Sicilian Bruschetta. It was amazing, I’d go back for it in a heart beat. We ordered The Mona Lisa , the Chicken Reggiano and the Corleone. Sadly , they were out of prosciutto for the Mona Lisa so I didn’t get to try it exactly the way it’s suppose to come. However I liked what they did, they took our order for a replacement pizza and still brought it out while we waited for the Corleone Pizza. I like that they didn’t toss it out and were considerate of our new pizzas’s wait time . The pizzas a didn’t take long at all and the Corleone was worth the wait anyways. It was actually my favorite pizza out of the three that we ordered. My server had recommended that one from the get go, I should’ve listened. I loooove truffle oil and that pizza has the perfect amount . It literally can make your heart sing from happiness. The only thing that I didn’t like was the tiramisu . I thought it was going to be amazing but it wasn’t . It was a little dry and the cream had a little bit of refrigerator taste. The server was nice and asked what other dessert we’d like , I went for a cappuccino instead. I asked her if they came with whip cream and she told me she could see if they can make it happen. She came back all happy because she did it herself and it looked beautiful. I loved it and how customer oriented they are . They genuinely care about you having a pleasant experience.

This weeks visit to the Sicilian Oven was the first time we have not had to wait outside for a table to become available for us. Albeit, we did arrive at 8:45pm when the dinner crowd had mainly dissipated. Our activities that day took longer than expected and we weren’t able to decide on where to dine until after 8:00pm which we didn’t mind as we felt there wouldn’t be a wait when we arrived at Sicilian Oven and we were correct. For the first time ever; in many visits I was able to park in front of the restaurant doors. We were seated promptly after walking in, provided Menu’s & Water and within 1-2 minutes our server - Alexis - came to our table to ask us if we had any questions and if we wanted a before dinner beverage. Warm, Friendly & very Personable are the best adjectives to describe him. He took our orders and within 5 minutes our Sicilian salad was served to us by one of his colleagues. Our pizza arrives within 10 minutes of us having finished the salad, was piping hot and as always delicious. We never had to ask for refills of our water as staff was around to serve us. As the restaurant / kitchen was not busy, we were in & out within 35-40 minutes which was fine. Once you have experienced dining here, the other pizza restaurants pale by comparison. We can only hope that Messrs. DiSalvo & Garavuso decide to open locations in / around Metro NYC.

What a really nice place to get a regular Italian meal or wood fired pizza. Ambiance is very comfortable. For an appetizer, we shared a Sicilian salad (large - highly recommended), which is plenty for two people. It consists of Romaine lettuce, garbanzo beans, red onion, Kalamatta and Sicilian olives, celery, shaved parmesan, candied walnuts, roasted red peppers, in a balsamic vinaigrette. A perfect amount of dressing and well mixed! For entrees, we had Eggplant Reggiano. Thinly sliced eggplant, Pomodoro sauce, melted mozzarella. I had mine over Rigatoni. The drink was a Titos Watermelon Martini. I will definitely be frequenting this establishment. One of Aventuras' best. UPDATE: As promised, I have visited again. I remembered to take a photo of the salad before we gouged it. Also tried a Queen of Sicily pizza, which has fresh sliced tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil, bite-sized pieces of fried eggplant, and balsamic reduction. AWESOME! You would make a killing in the NY area. Not NYC because there is pizza on just about every corner. Take it to the suburbs.

I wish I could post NEGATIVE stars, because this place deserves less. I ate lunch here today and found PLASTIC SARAN WRAP 5 INCHES LONG AND 1 INCH WIDE IN MY FOOD. I was chewing on it, thinking it was the skin of the eggplant, and then took it out of my mouth to realize what it was. (Thank God I did!) I pointed it out to my waiter, who was very nice and said he would show it to the manager and bring me another one. I waited a few minutes for my waiter to return from the kitchen, saw he then was occupied doing other things, and no manager appeared. One would expect the manager to come RIGHT AWAY and apologize, but this did not happen. I had to go up and ASK my waiter to call her out to speak to me. I made sure she understood the very serious SAFETY implications of finding PLASTIC in my lasagna, and stated that I didn't want my entire table to pay for the meal. (We were 4, ordering modestly.) To which she started to say she doesn't know if she could do that, but I turned around and walked back to my table. The bill came, and they charged us for a few things totaling about $22. I am shocked that the possibility of a customer ASPHYSXIATING ON PLASTIC YOUR CARELESS KITCHEN STAFF LEFT IN MY MEAL would not immediately signal that you should come out and APOLOGIZE as the manager and head representative of the establishment, and include an entire free meal for us. We paid the $22, plus a good tip for our waiter, as he was attentive and apologetic and it clearly wasn't his fault. It's not really about the meal. It's an extremely serious offense. And I'll be damned if I'm going to choke and die from someone else's EXTREME NEGLIGENCE. So I will post this where-ever I can and make sure EVERYONE knows not...

We've been coming to the location every March when we visit for the last couple of years. It's popular with the locals and visitors alike and the unit isn't massive so it stands to reason get there early if you'd like to be seated immediately. As in late afternoon for early dinner. We've got a couple of little ones and they enjoy the food, as do we, and the portions are generous. Staff and waiters are friendly and courteous. If there's one issue I have it's this: perhaps because we're not locals, perhaps because it's policy, perhaps it's been a fluke...every time I return home I find the charge on my American Express statement is a few dollars more than what I've signed on both the customer and merchant copies of the credit card slip. American Express doesn't bother themselves investigating and credits me the difference as it's not worth their time and I have extensive history with them. Having said that, I can't help but wonder why this keeps happening? X amount of credit card transactions times X amount of customers times X amount of days and these overcharges certainly add up and don't look good for the merchant IMO. Still, we'll return as it's close, convenient, and comfort food and I know American Express will right the merchant's wrong. Thank you.

Follow-Up: Management/Ownership immediately reached out and took initiative to ensure my concerns were addressed. Went above and beyond! Thanks very much. It's clear management/ownership care deeply about...
