I work overnights at a nearby hospital and I went in to pick up mine and my coworkers food all was well when I picked up the food but when I got back to work , I opened my 3 finger combo box up and started to eat and I then took a drink of my drink, looked back down to continue eating and realized there was a short dark brown curly hair, which I’m guessing came out of a team members beard. At least that’s what I’m hoping it was bc it was really hard to tell if it was a beard hair or a private area hair, I immediately was grossed out and took a picture of how I found it and immediately called into Cane’s and asked to speak with the manager. Once the manager named Mac got on the phone. I immediately told her what had happened. She then put me on a hold, came back and said that she checked the cameras and from what she can tell, she could not see a hair in the food. My Immediate response was just to laugh bc what are the chances that you could actually see a hair in the food, I mean, unless their cameras are as good as Walmart security cameras, I would find it almost impossible to be able to see that, but she proceeded to say let me put you on hold, my response to her was I’ve already been on the phone with you a couple of minutes. I’ve told you what my issue is. Why are you putting me on another hold? How can we resolve this? Her answer to me was “I mean you can hang up if you want to” and I said no I would like my refund and this issue resolved and she said the only way that I would be able to give you a refund is if you were to come in. I said OK I proceeded to tell her that not only did my food have a hair in it, but my coworkers order was also wrong. She proceeded to tell me “well I don’t know what you want me to do! I’m not gonna help you with anything other than your order” I said excuse me? I’m not asking you to do anything regarding that order, I’m just simply letting you know that somewhere down the line the ball is being dropped tonight bc I’ve been coming here for years, and I have never had anything wrong with my order and neither had my coworker. She then said “the only way that I’m giving you a refund is if you were to come into the restaurant” I said oh ok. Well, I’ll be there in just a minute so I proceeded to grab the rest of my food, went back into the store asked for Mac the manager that I spoke to on the phone. She came up to the counter with her eyes staring at me like daggers, I then proceeded to tell her that I am the one that was on the phone that had the hair in her food, From the very moment, she started to talk to me she already seemed annoyed that I was the one that was on the phone and that I had actually came in, I immediately started to show her the picture that I had in my phone with the hair and told her this is the hair that you told me that you did not see in the box. I have bright blue hair so clearly that hair could not come from me she then said “I mean, I didn’t say you were lying” and I said well technically you did bc initially you told me that you zoomed in on the box and that you did not see a hair, but now in person, she told me that she was not able to zoom into the box and just from looking at it on the computer screen she did not see the hair I then told her it’s 1 o’clock in the morning, I have been waiting for my lunch break and do you think I really have the time to order my food after being hungry all day come pick it up and go back after already picking my lunch up go back to work and open my food and still not be able to eat it and then having to go back after my lunch break was already over just to argue back-and-forth with manager that is supposed to be representing Cane's she then said “ I’m already giving you a refund. What else do you want from me?” I then told her I understand that it’s late and you all may be tired, but every customer still deserves 100% customer service regardless of what time it is and I will be telling everyone at the hospital about the service you gave me tonight she then said “you can write a review for all I care”...

Read moreDo Not Go Here! Worst customer service I've ever experienced and that's saying something! This was my family's first and likely LAST visit to a Cane's Restaurant. This staff must have a goal to alienate their customer's and drive away business, and they are doing great at that!
Firstly, the girl taking our order was completely disinterested in doing her job, spoke down at the register instead of looking at me or my wife, kept crossing her arms ( I assume because it was a little cold, but if you know its cold at your job, dress appropriately!) Secondly, the drink area was a complete mess, ketchup and drink lids all over the place and no straws. So I went up front to ask for some straws, the girl glared at me as if I lying that they were out. Then proceeded to the kitchen window to go bag not 1, but 2 customers orders over a 2minute period before taking the 5 seconds to get me 3 straws... I wish that the experience had ended there. When we were leaving my son dropped his drink lid on the floor and low and behold the drink area had still not been cleaned or stocked despite me telling them the condition of their drink area OVER 30 MINUTES PRIOR!! So, I begrudgingly go back to the front to ask for a new lid, how am I treated? Again like I am asking for the world, and again walked away from and left waiting for her to stand at the kitchen window for orders that hadnt even been put up yet! A minute passes and she has yet to simply hand me a soda lid.... unbelievable. Another employee could clearly see I was about to lose my calm, quickly rushed over and asked how they could help. Not counting the quick actions of that gentleman at the end, this was hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced in a restaurant or honestly any other setting. Zero stars if it...
