Dave & Buster's Bakersfield — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I understand this place is new and recently opened up a few weeks ago but I've never had worse service at a place in my life. I came her for a birthday dinner for my sister and received very bad service the whole time. We got our drinks and waited for the rest of our party to get there. It took about 20 mins for us to finally order food and when we did the waitress only got half of the tables order and left before getting the rest of us. When we finally got our orders in it took another 45 mins for the food to come out, when it did everyone's order came out except for 3 people. Including myself. Our waitress was nowhere to be found, had to ask other servers for refills and still never got them. We had to go to the bar ourselves just to get refills for our drinks. Us 3 we're fed up and asked for the manager and finally when she came by to talk to us our food came out 1 hr after ordering and the food was hard and cold. We all sent it back and all the female manager said was "sorry". It then took another 30 mins just to wait for the bill. Finally Alex the main manager was very helpful and understanding our frustration and took care of the situation. Other than that we all received terrible service for the restaurant part of the location. The games and prices were good for the selection they had. I love this place. The food is so good, and you always have many chances to win a free meal or free game chips. You never have to worry about a game accidentally taking your coins, because the staff is always there to help. I love that they want you to have fun, they go out of their way to make sure you are having a great time. There is this one lady, Abigail who always has a smile on her face. I remember one day she was on her own at the gift shop and there were so many people that Wednesday, and she handled it like a pro, now that’s customer service. The technicians for the games are always walking around and making sure the games are clean and working, and they help you out if the games doesn’t pay out your winnings. Ok, one thing I do, I always do, is if I am going to eat at any restaurant, I first look at their restrooms, yes I do, because the staff in a lot of places use the same restrooms and if it’s dirty and no soap, imagine your food when they cook it. Well, this Dave and Busters is on it, the restrooms are clean, and if someone made a mess right after they cleaned it, you just tell them and they are on it. Me and my son came in today, to have a father son hang out. He's 5 and was super excited to eat and play some games. We waited 30 minutes at the table and no waiter even stopped by to ask us what drinks we wanted. After 45 minutes of watching waiter pass by our table we got up and left. I told the lady at the front that I spent some money on coins and that I would like to speak to the manager about my experience and that I wanted half the money back so I can at least still play some games with my 5 year old who was starving and excited to play. She said ok and we started playing. We exhausted the entire amount waiting and no manager came. I've been working with people for over 10 years. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever received. The employees made it beyond clear that they did not care. If you are wanting to throw a birthday party or event or even a nice dinner and fun with your son, this is NOT the place. Anywhere that will make you wait 45 minutes and not even offer you a drink and no manager presence for 2 hours is not worth your money. Chose else where. The manager of this place should chose a different career path, watching tik toks in the office is not the play. Super...
