I live between this Chanel store and a Saks store with a Chanel.
I was looking for the double compact miroir to gift my sister and one for myself. Per customer service it was in stock at this store.
I asked customer service would it be ok to return an item I purchased from Saks there since I was heading there—I was told yes.
Upon entering the store, I explained to the the advisor Hannah what I was looking for and we started to walk around the store and that is when I noticed that security guard that was at the door was LITERALLY following us around.
The fact that he thought I would not noticed is laughable.
Upon checking out, I handed the earrings to the advisor I wanted to return and she had her manager come up to examine them.
I literally purchased the earrings on 12/10 and I was at the store on 12/17.
The manager came and examined the earrings and he stated “they are fine”. He sounded like he was annoyed that she had him come over to examine them.
Nevertheless, she rang up my new purchases and started to process the refund. She stopped and stated that she needed to confirm with the manager if it was ok to return the earrings, since it was from Saks.
She returned and advised me that per her manager, they could only exchange them.
I decided to not challenge her, since the obvious issue is that I was a black woman shopping at Chanel and had the audacity to try to return something.
I literally charged close to 10k on my credit card on Chanel items in from 12/10-12/17. SMDH!
I called customer service after I left the store and I was told there was no valid reason why they could not accept my return. I told her I could think of one.
I am still fuming and thinking...
Read moreWorst customer service ever came 45 minutes before they closed today first the door guy said they were at capacity as I watched them continue to allow people to go in then the manager walked up and said no appointment that I couldn't come in I explained to her I text the other manager Victoria who is a doll but is off that I was coming she said she wasn't notified and refused to let me in saying they close between 45 to 30 minutes its their closing policy another woman said she didn't have an appointment but she was texting an associate and the door guy let her in I explained to the manager that I have been waiting she became so argumentative and unprofessional it was embarrassing. I have purchased a bag in the past at this location but will never go back I drove for and hour and 40 minutes from Parkland to get aggravated by a store manager with terrible policies your hours posted say til 6 you should see customers until 6. I came solely to buy an in-stock item not to browse dragged my husband to be denied entry by a woman who had no tact or customer...
Read moreHow disappointing. My husband purchased a bag for me in November stating it was for a surprise Christmas gift. The sales person then texted me and ruined the surprise When I opened the bag a few days before Christmas and it had clearly been used. One has to assume that because this item was shipped after the purchase that the item my husband bought in the store was not the one that was shipped to my home. After being diagnosed with Covid the same day I was unable to make it to the store during their return Period. After texting the sales person to let them know I received damaged merchandise they completely ignored me. I reached out to corporate and was told that the Bal Harbour store will do nothing for me and my $4200 used bag is mine to keep. I was not requesting a refund just a bag that had not previously been worn. Anytime I have ever had an issue with Louis Vuitton, Prada, YSL They have resolved it without question apparently Chanel does not care about customer retention or...
