If I walk into The Great Cookie, Mrs. Field's, or any other cookie establishment I would be able to order as many cookies I would like. But not at Aunt Kelly’s Cookies. She is limiting you to 2 dozen cookies in fear of being wiped out of cookies. Didn’t even offer if I wanted to wait for cookies since I had a big order. Was just going to deny me initially. She semi accommodated me, however, I walked out with way less than I planned. I spent $50. I could have spent $150. But, no. She would rather wait for her customers that will arrive later even though I’m standing in the store with money in hand. What if she doesn’t get another customer the rest of the day? Never turn down easy money. Customers could stop flowing in tomorrow. But you want to deny a person in your store. I don’t understand this logic. This will be my last purchase from this establishment. One of the reasons, black owned businesses get bad rep. Sell the cookies, make the cookies. It’s not that hard. If you sell out, MAKE SOME MORE and the next customer just has to wait until the next batch is ready. Almost lost a $50 (would have been more) sale because you are waiting for IMAGINARY CUSTOMERS! I wish I could...

If your teenage years were filled with yellow packages of Linden's butter crunch cookies (and even if they weren't), do your tastebuds a favor and head to Aunt Kelly's. These cookies are soooooo much better than Linden's, and some of the best cookies I've had. Each one is chewier than the next. Not a bad one in the bunch. (You know you used to feel the packages to try to get the softer ones!) The buttery-ness literally oozes. I mean, they just go down toooo easy!
Yes, they are on the flatter side, not a huge cake like cookie, like some of your other favs might be. But these are the truth, and I'll put them up against any other cookie out there. If you like a little chocolate in your cookie, they even have butter crunch chocolate chip (the same goodness with a little taste of choco!) Why are you still reading,...
Read moreFirst things first, I'd never heard of them before so I was pretty amped about going to see them. They're location is perfect as it sits in the middle of Howard St and all its galore. I love how it looks. Really cozy! Okay now down to the nitty gritty. I like cookies just as much as the next person, however, I wasn't expecting their cookies to taste so home like. My mom could bake her a$$ off uhkay?! She passed some time ago and never had the time to write up her recipes for us to keep. Today, after having tried Aunt Kelly's Cookies, I know I'm in good hands. The cookie: butter crunch. The taste: explosive! All that flavor I wasn't expecting but boy was it good! I immediately followed them on social media because now I know where to get all my homemade cookies from. They're not my moms, God rest her soul, but boy they sure are close! If you go, pleaseeee try to get a taste of every last one because im sure they're...
