Only one other owner there on a Thursday afternoon which was fine for my 6 month old puppy. He mentioned there's normally more owners there with large dogs. There are two separate parks large dogs or senior dogs but no area for small dogs. covid restrictions say only 5 at a time if I'm remembering that right, the park is big enough for social distancing with many benches. My dog loved it and I thought it was decent besides the area that it's in. A little sketchy. Pretty clean. Poop bags offered. Lots of room for my puppy to have the time of her life.

Came here last year with my dog infrequently but it was super clean and spacious for him. Today I came here and am disgusted. Bird poop everywhere and coating all of the four benches making them unuseable. The trash cans are so overfilled that there is a jenga tower of poop bags on the top. Not to mention a broken water fountain wasting a ton of water and creating a bird poop sewer creek that runs through one of the main gates. Was this park abandoned by the city? It's so bad.

Good park, the pet owners are nice and respectful. With that said, be aware, there is a lot of 💩 around, and the water fountain in the large dog part (as of 3.12.25) is an operable. Regardless of these two things I think it's a good park for a dog to go meet and play and run around and get their energy out

Excellent place for dogs to play and have a nice safe area' to do it in. Especially since it's located in Baltimore City. It is located right behind the Centre Street Light Rail Station Stop on the southbound side (I'm including this just to be 100% sure, the park is located behind the Light Rail Stop, it's on the side where the next stop is Lexington Market, which I'm almost positive is the south side, although it's obvious once you are there that it could only be on the side it is on cuz the other side which I'm almost positive is the Northbound side and that side is nothing but concrete, so really it's quite impossible to not know which side it's on! Baltimore is well known for a lot of things but grass isn't one of them. So this 🐕 dog park is somewhat unique as well as being just a plain old nice area for small & large dogs alike! They have have two different sections, one for big dogs and one for small ones. I consider it a pretty safe place to be as well, although it is in Baltimore City, which unfortunately isn't known to be the safest of places! The dog owners keep it very nice and clean, and there are plenty of doggie poo bags and trash cans as well! Great little place! Good amount of space in both parts! Hopefully this was helpful for at...

I love the park but liked it better when humans could go to it or at least sit down near there. I don't understand why Baltimore is spending it's taxpayers money on creating dog parks in areas where gentrification is growing in volume, but yet close recreational centers in areas that need them the most. Not only that, but there is not enough green spaces for human beings to enjoy as it is in these increasingly dense spaces, cluttered with stores & gentrified nonsense. On second thought, I've stayed in Mount Vernon for a period of time, and maybe it's more important to have a space where owners can concentrate on their dog's play & waste management. Because Lord knows, that without a space to go to, to incite their own social guilt among "peers" in a confined space, they would never pick up their dog's dirty business. They never do. A true Mount Vernon favorite...

Looooove this My daughter got a rescue puppy over the summer, He's a brindle lab mix We found out about the dog park from a neighbor who invited us to bring our Bruno while he was taking his female pup ( she 2 is a mix breed/ pit bull mix, also a rescue pup) They both enjoyed the dog park. Actually my first time ever experiencing a dog park. There's a space just for small fur babies that's fenced in and separated from the larger fur babies. They even have a 💧 water fountain ⛲️ just for the fur babies ✅️✨️💫💛 Plenty of space for the fur babies to run freely and just be pups! Did i mention the seating for us humans to just sit and meet other fur baby parent. Actually met a few awesome fur baby owners and...
