Belvedere Bagels and Grill LLC — Restaurant in Baltimore

Got off the train from DC in a bad way. Had a few potent cocktails the night before and slept terrible. Had one weak cup of coffee before I headed to Baltimore. Train was delayed almost an hour. About 16 hours after my last meal I got off at Penn station and started walking south. Physically I was weak- my spirits were low. Stumbled into this place and ordered a western omelette and coffee. The guy behind the counter was like my guardian angel. Told me to sit outside and he’d bring me my food (I’d be glad to carry it myself!). Copious amount of ham in the omelette which carried a nice sear. Home fries (not hash browns) with a delightful char. He told me coffee refills were free. The breeze was blowing at a balmy 80F for my “brunch”. After 3 days in downtown DC I was aching for a spot like this....

I DON’T KNOW WHAT THE STAFF PROBLEM IS BUT I’M OFFICIALLY THROUGH WITH THIS PLACE.

EVERY TIME I ORDER HERE THEY DROP THE BALL. I ASK AND PAY FOR EXTRA CHEESE I DON’T GET IT. I ASK AND PAY FOR EXTRA BACON I DON’T RECEIVE IT. I ASK FOR SCRAMBLED CHEESE EGGS I GET AN EGG OMLETTE TOPPED WITH SLICES OF CHEESE.

I CANNOT STAND THIS PLACE. TODAY WAS THE LAST STRAW. HOME FRIES WERE PARTIALLY RAW. THE JELLY ON MY TOAST LOOK LIKE IT WAS SLAPPED ON THERE LIKE THEY GAVE ZERO CARE OR EFFORT.

I’M PISSED. I’VE BEEN LIVING IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS AND HAVE BEEN A PATRON OF THIS PLACE FOR ALMOST AS LONG, BUT THEY ARE JUST TERRIBLE. I KEPT GOING BECAUSE IT REMINDED ME OF THE BREAKFAST SPOTS BACK HOME IN PHILLY BUT I CANNOT MAKE THAT COMPARISON. HOME IN PHILLY THEY PUT LOVE INTO...

Absolutely gem of a place! It is virtually impossible to find a bagel around Inner Harbor, much less a wonderfully tasting one (especially if you are a NYC disserning bagel lover.) We got lucky finding this place by accident and it did not disappoint! The owner Igor is very lovely and the bagels are super fresh and yummy. We went back every morning of our family stay in Baltimore, tried a number of items from the menu and every day breakfast was a hit! If you call 10min ahead, by the time you get there your breakfast will be packed and ready to go....
