Decided to go to China House after realizing our regular spot was closed. Had a taste for beef yakamein (yat gaw mein) and figured we’d give them a try. We ordered the beef yak and 4 wings w/ fried rice. The wings were okay, pretty usual from what you’d expect from a Chinese carry out, had a nice crisp but the rice was not good. It had a funny taste & was not at all seasoned. The yak gaw mein was not what I expected nor what I’m used to. It was very soupy & made with fettuccine noodles instead of the thick udon type. The flavor of the sauce was too sweet for my liking and clearly had a ketchup base. Also there were little too many onions. Overall, the customer service was good but the food was not the best so I probably won’t be back.

My Favorite Chinese takeout spot in East Baltimore! Quick, Efficient, Friendly service. Veggies in the dishes are always fresh. Sauces are not too salty. I always get Hunan Beef and they have no problem with me telling them exactly which vegetables I do or do not want in the dish… I always pick-up bc I’m usually swinging by after I finish working on my way home…. Only thing keeping me from giving 5 Stars is it’s usually not quite spicy 🌶 enough for me, however I like very spicy food… so it’s probably spicy enough for most 😊… I usually just ask for a side of “hot oil” to give it a little extra kick (that’s the oil with red pepper flakes in it). I would definitely recommend if looking for a good, quick, clean Chinese food establishment!

It was good. Prices were pretty good. Food needed more salt. Could order over the phone, no online ordering thru the store, wish they had had that. Delivery was pretty quick- within 35 mins. Dumplings were just ok, too thick for my taste. Good place, not great. The food looked better than it tasted imo. And I was really hungry and food usually tastes better when you’re really hungry so take that as you wish.

I cannot say good enough things about this place.

DO NOT ORDER ON GRUB HUB OR YELP OR ANY OF THAT. just call them. they will deliver without all the pesky fees and stuff those 3rd party apps charge you (and them!). Save your fee money for the driver and for China House. Also, grub hub and yelp etc... always screw up deliveries. China House NEVER DOES. THEY'RE AWESOME.

Excellent prices. I don't understand where restaurants get off charging $15 for a micro-meal, but its bonkers. China House provides the portions you remember a Chinese food place providing, at a great price.

They deliver. Themselves. and they are SO FREAKING FAST! and they don't charge you extra for it.

The food is great. I lived in LA for the last many years in a decent-chinese-food-desert. So happy i live near china house now.

thank you china house!!!!! Keep being awesome....

My preferred Chinese place in the Fells Point area and Baltimore. Have had better outside the city, but this is the best I've found locally. I only ever pickup so cannot comment on delivery. Preparation is fast, usually 15 minutes or less. Has seating for up to 8 people, but is really not a eat-in sort of place. Much better to takeaway as the ambiance is non-existent. I usually get General Tso's Chicken, Lo Mein (have had all the proteins), fried dumplings, chicken with broccoli and/or spring rolls. The staff are the owners. I believe it's at least one Chinese family who owns and runs the place. Not sure if everyone there is related, but I believe everyone is Chinese who works there - at least behind the counter taking orders and cooking. Kitchen is open so you can see everything while it's being cooked. Drinks are just a selection of canned beverages and...

Use to be my favorite place. Food good, for most part this place is good. Except for the part they are now trying to make people pay $20 dollars for them to deliver your food. When I only live on the other side of Patterson Park from them. I use to have them deliver when I’m not feeling so well because of my condition. They have it clearly on their menu that local delivery is $15 and Federal hill area $20. Which understandable because that area is farther away but now they want everyone. Even locals to pay $20 or more for them to deliver. Which me I always get something around $15 because it’s just me, I don’t need all that much for just me. That is a ridiculous new policy for people who live locally and not feeding a family. I will never order delivery again from them. I’ll probably not order again period from here again. Very...
