This place was a revelation!!! The sandwiches were really tasty - we got the angry bird and the Katsu one and they were both incredible. The chicken was still crispy, and they gave us the sauces on the side so that it would stay crispy (we had our meal delivered). My boyfriends favorite part of the meal was his sandwich (the angry bird). The Buffalo sauce was really nice and vinegar-y and you could still taste the flavor of the sauce through the spice because it wasn’t very spicy at all. I also really liked the katsu sandwich, but the shining star of the meal for me was the sauce. That sauce was tangy, sweet, and hit DIFFERENT. I also liked the Japanese pickles on the sandwich - they reminded me of the cucumber dish that is so popular at Din Tai Fung. We also got fries, which I think were a victim of delivery. I think if they were super fresh out of the fryer, they would’ve been fantastic. The seasoning was great - we were trying to guess what the seasoning was but I have no idea (seasoned salt? Paprika? I don’t know). We got the sweet Thai chili wings as well, which were tasty but I think did not live up to their full potential. The sauce on the wings was so great, but it didn’t feel like the flavor went all the way to the bone. All in all, this place was really amazing and I’m excited to try the rest of the menu!

I'm giving BRD 2 stars. I've never had a good interaction with the staff. I get that service jobs are difficult, but everyone from the cashier to the manager are downright rude. The food is usually good, but today someone must have been sleeping on the job. The sandwich I got was all breading, and the meat looked like it had been hammered down, which was a departure from the usually plump and juicy thigh meat that the sandwiches are supposed. to have. At this point, I would say just go across the street to the Market. The food isn't worth the wait. I’m updating the review to also point out how insanely slow the service is. This isn’t just a pandemic issue, this is just a BRD issue. There’s a point where you start to see diminishing returns for fast food. 25 minutes for an in-store order is borderline insanity. The food is good, but it’s not that good. I can get a proper meal ordered and picked up in that time, instead of a chicken sandwich and fries.

Got takeout (hence the slightly squished sandwich) twice and the chicken was pretty solid both times. Not over nor undercooked, and it had a very nice amount of crispiness and spice. They had made it fresh right after I ordered. I was pleased with their portion size of fries, and they're packed with seasoning. The sauces are also quite good too and pair well with their sandwiches. My only complaints are that they aren't good with customized orders or sandwiches; they put pickles on my sandwich when I asked for none (both times I ordered). Maybe it was just the second time I visited, but the fries that came in the bag were quite soggy and not as fresh as the first. Overall, I would probably visit again and try another one of their signature sandwiches.

Manager and employees were yelling at a customer for not wearing their mask for 15 mins as I waited for my food. The customer then started handing out cash to the employees to get them to shut up about it and they accepted the money. But the Manager continued to go off on the customer and things were getting heated and very uncomfortable. The thing is-nobody ever asked me to wear a mask as I ordered my food -or while I waited for my food-so I’m unsure why that customer was receiving unfair treatment, especially since he came in after me.

I finally received my food during this altercation-& there were missing items from my order-and when I asked for the missing items they first said I had to pay for “extras”-even though I already paid for it, I was not asking for “extras”-which I told them that-and then they decided to tell me they were out of the missing items. But no substitute item were offered in place of them. I sat back down and realized I was missing more than I initially realized but at that point I was just so over everything and wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. I felt unsafe- I ate my food as fast as possible, and now realize why nobody was in there when we first arrived....

The chicken sandwich is worth getting. The wings are not. Too small. The sandwich is spicy! I have a condition with my tongue where I’ve become sensitive to spicy food and I miss it so this was spicy for me! I asked if spicy meant spicy or if it was in the sauce and the cashier said no it’s not spicy so I wasted my money. It’s spicy. Very. Couldn’t eat it. My husband said “it’s got good heat”. the fries are decent. Service was just ok. The sandwich was good but the cashier didn’t know the product.

They have an issue with their door it always locks. We walked away two other days because of it even though there were other customers inside. We finally made it in over the weekend. All that said I won’t go back bc it’s too spicy. Cross street market or banditos or mother’s or Abby’s or pub dog etc lots of options I like more in fed hill and they take cash as well as allow drink refills. Even the bathrooms are locked which is obnoxious especially after not getting in times past in addition to watching people get locked out while we were there.

So it’s not for me but if you like spicy it’s a...
