HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT TOO BUT NOT AT THIS PLACE...BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NASTY STEAK SUB/FOOD..They forgot to put my cake in the bag. I called about it and the first woman I spoke with was very nice but she put me on hold for what I didn't know at the time. Then this woman with attitude got on the phone and told me they could credit it and give it to me the next time I came in.

It was my first time there who said anything about coming back?

While I was there I asked them what their delivery area was in case I wanted to order. My business is located at in a building at the corner of Charles and Hamilton one block from the boarder of their delivery area of Charles and Mulberry. When I called about the missing cake I told them basically that I was at work and I could not come back to their restaurant to pick up a slice of cake. I suggested that they bring it up to me when they have a delivery up this way. If they have one sometime today then I didn't think It would be a problem. The woman told me they couldn't do it because I was out of their delivery area. ONE BLOCK! But I can travel all the way back to the store because THEY made a mistake. OK RIGHT! In addition to that their steak sub really wasn't good. So their cake was probably just as bad anyway. ORIOLES PIZZA and Sub's are better!!! AND they deliver to my building. I was going there at first but a friend of mine suggested Maria D's. It was close to where I was a the time so I tired it. NEVER AGAIN!

To be more specific about the food, the sub roll was chewy and hard the lettuce was wilted and the tomatoes were not fresh. They tasted like they had been sitting out at least two days. The meat was substandard and tough/chewy like it was old and had been frozen for too long and the over all flavor was missing except for salt and liquid. The fries got cold before I finished eating my sub. They felt hard and powdery and since they were cold I just threw them in the trash like I should have done with the sub but you know that old saying " I ate it because I bought it." Maybe if I had taken it back I could have gotten a refund. Then I could have...

Pizza is amazing. But I will never return again. After the bar, I went and grabbed pizza with my boyfriend and his coworker. As we were sitting at the table eating pizza, I was putting Parmesan cheese on my pizza. The “guard” whatever he is, came over to me and took the parm out of my hand... said I was “making a Mess” even tho I had my pizza laid out on napkins. I enjoy extra parm cheese on my pizza, and he took it out of my hand. I didn’t make a mess. All the extra cheese landed on my napkins that I had under my pizza for the sake of not wanting to leave a mess behind. This man took the cheese out of my hand because he thought I was making a mess with the cheese when I wasn’t. And even if I “was”, it is your job to clean customers messes by the end of the night. Especially on a Saturday night at 2am... what else do you expect from 100% drunk customers. Amazing pizza but I will never return because of the disrespect. I am 21 years old, I don’t need to be told how much cheese I am allowed to use on my pizza. There are further things to worry about in that restaurant with drunk customers other than the amount of cheese I use on...

So I call in a delivery order today 40 minutes before delayed delivery (as I work and am limited to a 30 minute lunch). My order is confirmed and deliver time confirmed. Around 10 minutes after my delivery is scheduled I call to confirm that my order is on the way. I am told that my food is on the way and will be there shortly. Now 20 minutes after scheduled delivery time, I call again. This time I am again told my food is on the way. Another voice comes through the phone telling me my food is just coming off of the grill and is first on the list. I am forced to cancel my lunch by time constraints Let's recap. My food was called with plenty of notice and forgotten about with preparation and delivery. Instead of owning the mistake and notifying me so I could find other means they allowed me to wait and lied to me to try and maintain my business. Never fulfilled the order and not once offered any sort of apology even for failing to deliver food. I can safely say you will never see my business again due to your lack of customer service and apologies. If you have time constraints don't bother or you'll be sitting at...

Grabbed an 18" cheese pie. The counter was pretty busy, so next time I'll call it in. The pizza was heavy on the cheese, but the crust was chewy and able to handle it well. The sauce tasted like fresh tomatoes, which was really nice. I think the cheese is a blend of mozz & parm, which may or may not be to your taste (I liked it). All-in-all, this hit the spot on a Sunday night and the leftovers were excellent the next morning. 👌 Edit: Returned and tried the gyro and italian cold cut 12" sub. The gyro had a LOT of meat that was sliced thick and charred nice. I found it to be a little underseasoned though. The italian cold cut was HUGE (hand for size in my pic) and sooo good. I loved the bread, the filling, and the spiciness so much. This was my favorite thing I've eaten from Maria D's thus far.

I got a cheese steak sub and my spouse got a cheeseburger sub they were about $15 each for 12-in sub I personally think for the price there could have been more meat on the sub because it's definitely not a lot they have good bread but it was not toasted so I know for future reference to make sure to tell them to toast it the sub itself had an okay taste it wasn't the best I ever had but definitely was not the worst I ordered on a Friday at 5:00 something p.m. and it took a little over an hour just to get the two subs so it wasn't hot when it got here that's the main reason why I only gave three stars because I like hot food not cold also I asked for extra extra fried onions and there's not really much fried onions at all

I visited here last March. It's still the best pizza I've had in Baltimore. I still talk about it a year later, and recommend it to my friends who ask for restaurants in the Fed Hill area. This pizza sorta scratched an itch for me. Slices were huge, thick, and had a great balance of cheese with other toppings. The crust was crunchy, but the dough was soft. They have extra parmesan and garlic to augment your slice if you need. Service was quite fast, and the prices weren't too high for a single slice. I got the BBQ Chicken slice and it was phenomenal for BBQ lovers.
