The Smoothie Garden — Local services in Baltimore

Me and my family went to this establishment and we thought it was beautifully presented. We were excited about trying the smoothies until the staff addressed us with such an abrasive tone when we were placing our order that 2 of my family members decided not to order because of her how intimidating her tone was. After I paid almost 30$ for 2 smoothies she basically put everyone who ordered outside to wait in 90 degree heat. We waited for 25 min outside, she then came out and tells us that there was a wait on watermelons (didn't say how long). I get a refund because I don't want to wait outside for how ever much longer it will be. But she didn't seem to mind losing business. I just wished it was more organized as I support local businesses and I don't like leaving less than positive reviews. I can understand the wait for the viral crowd response but her tone wasn't necessary when people go out of their way to spend money at your business and are waiting outside in the heat for...

The smoothies here are delicious, and I do not mind paying the price for the high quality ingredients that they use. The aesthetic of the place is also beautiful. I want to support this small business, but I have several issues. First, despite placing an order online ahead of time, my order was not ready for nearly an hour after placing it. Second, multiple items on the online ordering site were not available. The biggest issue is that the muffin I ordered in place of the carrot cake I originally ordered (which was out of stock) was literally hard as a rock to the point that it would break your tooth and moldy on the bottom. I have a photo of the mold; it was not just the blueberries. I hesitate to post a negative review about a small business, but these issues need to be corrected. I want to support this business, but these issues, especially selling people moldy...

I’m all about supporting small businesses as I am one myself… I decided to drive the half an hour to try these wonderful looking smoothies that I saw on IG with my family. The outside of the establishment is so colorful and inviting, the inside was just as nice, but when I got to the counter with my family I was shocked at how rude and standoffish the young lady was that was taking the order. I started to leave, but I knew my daughter would have been disappointed. If I would have been by myself I would have left. We ordered our smoothies and were told they would be brought to us outside. The same young lady who took our order brought us our smoothies and was just as rude and abrasive as she was inside. I will say the smoothies were delicious. We really enjoyed them, but unfortunately we will not be back due to the customer service. First impressions for me...
