We arrived with reservations @ 6 pm (Thank God bc there were several parties that were turned away due to them being booked / too busy to seat them) the bread was great. We waited quite some time for our drinks to come out (well over a half hour)... the waitress than came out to advise us that their credit card machine was down & they were only accepting cash and pointed us in the direction of the closest ATM machine.
At 6:53 PM the waitress advised us: “with the commotion in the back w/ our credit card machine being broken & everythig, I’m going to be honest, we have not got your order in yet... can you guys tell me what you ordered again?” 🤬🤬🤬
Our food came out @ 7:08 . The food was good. My fiancé thought the Margarita pizza could’ve been better. He got the crab topped veal he thought was pretty good.. I got the Oriels seafood & I thought it was great! .. the waitress was irritated whenever we asked for more bread.
Our total came to about $66.. we gave her $80 She came back with change in her hand & asked “you gave me $80, right?”..

Read moreThis is the place if you're looking for a solidly good old fashioned, hole-in-the-wall, low key, plus BYOB (love BYOB!!!), checkered-table cloth restaurant with Italian-American standards. It's much like the places you find in Providence, where the food will satisfy, the service will please, & the check beats the tourist-attraction prices of Little Italy. The place is comfortably busy on a Friday night. The weeknight we went it was not busy with dine-in customers, but there was a very steady stream of take out & delivery traffic. Another thing I loved: since they don't blare music you can actually enjoy a conversation with friends & family. The desserts are standard & I doubt they're made in house, but while they might be uninspired they are still delicious treats (tiramisu!), & they serve a solid espresso too. If you want fussy, foofoo shishi, & pretentious, please consider someplace else, & leave this lovely, quaint, & delicious place for the rest of us. Btw - you can call for reservations. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's in Fed Hill &...
