Oxymoron Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Baltimore

Great visit from start to finish.

Plentiful street parking w inexpensive meters, attractive and well decorated atmosphere upon entering establishment, friendly and efficient service.

We were greeted by Shav, who took amazing care of us from start to finish. We sat at the bar, and it was a good steady crowd. Shav managed to tend to us and make us feel like we were the only customers she had. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions. We ordered the following Happy Hour items, 7 bucks each !!

Jerk Egg Rolls - Very flavorful, great portion size. Chicken Tenders - Good-sized tenders, tasty and yum. The fries that accompany them... AMAZING !! Light as a Rock - Smooth, tasty, and great pour. Bitter Sweet - Hubby loved!! States it had a good "punch to it." He lit up once he took his 1st sip. He would def order again.

We genuinely enjoyed our entire visit and appreciated the information shared by Shav regarding Karaoke on Thursday, all day HH's on specific days/ day, and more to come.

Walked in for a nice meal and drink on a Thursday early evening to unwind after work, sat at the bar and waited to be greeted, there was a short light skin lady bartending, there was only about 10 people at best and most were there prior to me coming in. After 15 minutes of helping myself find the menu, making eye contact periodically with the bartender who never acknowledged I was there, and watching her put new straws and napkins out instead of acknowledging I was there, I kindly got up and left. Horrible customer service, my first and last time at this...

Forgot to post but end of December 2023 we went on a Thursday at 6p per their happy hour (6p-10p) post on IG, got there at 6 door locked lights on and a female sitting down at the bar scrolling on her phone. Waited 30 mins to see if they would open and door still locked we knocked no one came to the door, it was still that same female scrolling on her phone so we left and went to another restaurant. I try to support but business owners...
