They have a good NY style dough. They are new and I hope they will consider criticism, I ordered 2 slices of the caprese and bottled water. Cost $20. To start they are trying too hard to validate their overpriced menu, using 2Xs the cheese that is needed and then adding the fresh mozzarella. When cooked the pizza was oily and being a cheese lover, ironically I felt the quantity of cheese was overdone. In short "good pizza, over priced, and needs to have the appropriate proportions of ingredients, allow the extra cheese to be requested, also my edge crust was slightly under cooked and doughy which may be one off.. The pizza was better than most Maryland pizza shops. I will be willing to give them another try if they reconsider their pricing but for now I can stick to my other NY style pizza places in Baltimore and the county. For those of you that want to know those places, contact me I would be glad to share. Growing up in Northern NJ and NY I am a NY Pizza fan and appreciate a good pizza joint in MD like the many I grew up with.

Today I upgraded my review. I stopped by again. Prices seem to be more reasonible and this is after the pandemic crazy inflation. I ordered a spicy italain sub, a peporoni slice and bottled water $25. The sub was well seasoned and had jalepenos vs peperoncini but they went well with the sandwich. The pizza slice didnt have globs of cheese like my last experience and the crust was crispy with some extra brown spots as expected from a brick oven pizza. Good...

If you’re searching for a high-end pizza carryout experience, Pizza Di Joey is an absolute gem. From the moment you step in to pick up your order, you’re greeted by the enticing aroma of freshly baked gourmet pizzas and the warm professionalism of their staff.

While every item on their menu promises excellence, their Buffalo Chicken Pizza is the true standout. A perfectly crisp yet airy crust serves as the base for an explosion of bold flavors. The tender, marinated chicken is generously coated in their signature buffalo sauce—spicy yet balanced. A layer of gooey, melted cheese complements the tanginess, and the drizzle of ranch takes it over the top. The subtle heat of the buffalo sauce lingers, making each bite even more addictive than the last.

What sets this pizza apart is the attention to detail: fresh ingredients, expertly balanced flavors, and a clear commitment to quality. Whether you’re hosting a dinner party or just treating yourself to an elevated pizza night, Pizza Di Joey’s Buffalo Chicken Pizza is a must-try.

Pizza Di Joey isn’t just a pizza place—it’s a celebration of everything that makes pizza extraordinary. Highly...

You know who’s not supposed to eat pizza? Me, the guy with celiac disease. Let me tell you something...some things in life are worth the danger and if there is any gluten-filled slice of chaos worth enduring, it’s at this pizza joint. We are talking quality ingredients. Like fresher than a fade on a Friday night. Fresher than white Air Force one sneakers out the box.

Ever wrote a haiku before? You will after you eat a slice of this pizza. I’m home painting slices of pizza with pretty little pepperoni like Bob Ross’ spirit took over my hands because of this spot. The people working the oven should just be called Team Merlin the way they’re working magic. Pricey you say? Yeah...if you’re a peasant that’ll settle for Ellio’s out the freezer. You gonna pay $10 for a steak at Denny’s or get your money’s worth with $40 at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Boston?

Yeah, I’ll cough up a $10 spot for something official like this. Don’t be silly. Indulge in the finer things and...

IMPORTANT DETAILS Cheese Slice - $5, toppings - $9 (ouch) GOOD - service and pizza top( sauce and cheese BAD - CRUST - burnt and more burnt Pizza di Joey was recommended as a Market visit, so I gave it a shot. Baltimore has great food - seafood (country top contender) and winning meats/sandwiches. What Baltimore doesn't ace is thin crust pizza. Time and time again - too soft, too chewy or too burnt. Pizza di Joey falls into category C - see picture. The top with sauce and cheese was good and flavorful. The sweet attendant and good top carried 3 stars, but the burnt crust fills every bite. The oven temp is probably okay, it needs to come out 3 mins earlier. I probably won't go back, but the sandwich pictures and specials looked good - I'd try them and pass on the pizza.

After seeing Pizza Di Joey on Instagram and seeing it's "the best Pizza in Baltimore", me and my close friend decided to go and try it out for ourselves. The Pizza is highly overpriced, $5-$9 for one slice of Pizza is outrageous, and you have to pay $1 if you want a box for your slice. Besides the price, the Pizza in itself is overhyped in my opinion. It's not a bad slice by any means, it's a pretty decent slice, but to say "best in Baltimore"? I don't agree with that at all. I've had plenty of better slices. But nonetheless, it was decent, and if you don't mind spending anywhere from $5-9 for one slice of pizza, then I recommend giving it a try.

Food: 3/5 Service: N/A (did takeout) Price: $$ This review is only for the food, we ordered the Margherita 24” and Grandmas. The pizzas were unfortunately underwhelming. The crust leaned towards the dry side, and the overall flavor profile was a bit lacking. My partner and I both wished there was more sauce and flavorful sauce at that on the pizzas. It wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t stand out either. Giving it a 3/5 for now, and will try again but this time for dine-in.
