Well. It was an interesting experience. I got a regular polish manicure/pedicure for $55. I tipped $15. The massage chair had a pretty low intensity that you couldn't make stronger in the chair I was in (I had the blue one. There were 3 different types of chairs). The foot bath was ice cold. Like I-couldn't-put-my-feet-in-cold. When someone became available, I asked if I got my could get hotter water. They said oh absolutely. Partly drained/added hot water... I got cool water. I asked for it to be a bit hotter, and they were surprised, but repeated the process, and now I'm at lukewarm. Someone asked if it was hot now, and I said not really. My manicurist felt it and said "oh that's hot!" I touched it with my hand, thinking maybe I had acclimated as the temp changed. Nope. It was barely warm. I repeated that I would like it hotter. She did, but then went off in what I assume is her native tongue, indicating she wasn't happy. I wasn't really either since it was still in the warm, not hot category, but I just left it. The manicurist never asked which pedicure I wanted, and she gave me the basic. Which was pretty basic, but fine. I actually wanted the Chamomile, which was more expensive, but by the time I realized she wasn't going to ask, we were past the point of changing it. Over the course of the visit, the manicurist asked me 4 times if I wanted glitter. I said, "No thanks!" Each time, but by the time we got to the manicure, she just said,"we'll do glitter on this nail. " I had to firmly say "no I don't want that." My hands went into the UV light things between coats. I sat under the light/ fan bench for 10 minutes. My nails looked like this after I put my shoes on. It was a pretty underwhelming-borderline-terrible service. I tipped a bit more than I normal do because maybe she was having a bad day.

I went to Sassy Nails for a pedicure and full set of acrylic nails. The pedicure was rushed with little in the way of benefits for the “deluxe” option - 2 min hot stone massage on the calf. I had higher hopes for the full set but again, it was rushed. I showed the man the design I wanted - a matte base with glossy slanted French tips - and he said he could do it. Turns out he couldn’t. The nails were crooked, bulky and uneven. He attempted to fix but did not succeed. The owner took over short after an exchange between the two of them but it was so uncomfortable because of the tone of his voice and the arguing back/forth. Very unprofessional. I know the owner tried to make it right but anything short of taking all the nails off and redoing the full set wouldn’t fix the issues. The end result was mediocre. The nails are still slanted, bulky in areas. The glossy part on the mail is actually navy blue, not black (I didn’t notice until it was too late). I asked for coffin but ended up with mostly square shape. My finger started bleeding after intense filing and left my fingers sore for days. I went during a time they weren’t busy and showed the design I wanted. If it couldn’t be done I would have preferred them to say that vs wasting my time and money. I won’t be back.

I hate to be this person, but I have been here 4 times, and unfortunately, all 4 times has ended in disappointment. first and second time my polish was lumpy and the shape was sloppy. The third time, I brought a friend with me, and they refused to paint simple snakes on my friends nails, and simply used a sticker on mine, and the edges of said sticker curled up and caught on things. this last time, I have gotten them done, loved how they looked leaving the store, but once I got home, about an hour later, one broke..... not cool, but also all the gel topcoat is peeling off. its been 24 hours, and they look terrible now..... I paid $90 for this after I specifically told them that I had a budget of $82. I went in looking to get just my nails done, but after much pestering I caved and got a pedi too, after I had already told them I just wanted my nails done. I have really bad social anxiety and tried to say no. I told them several times that all I had on me was $82 cash and that was my budget, and they ignored it, having me pay $90 for services I didn't even want. I still left a $10 tip so they wouldn't hate me if that helps you understand how bad my anxiety is.

I used to eat here with my friend during college almost weekly because of the affordable pricing. However, due to how I was treated by my server I will not be going back. I was starred at while eating and judged for the amount of food I was consuming. I know this to be fact because one of the servers pointed directly at me and whispered some remarks to another one of their coworkers. They were looking at me, and my friend, and did this repeatedly. And yes, they were smiling (giggling some) while doing it. This made us extremely uncomfortable and we both felt that we were weight shammed for simply eating at a buffet. Also, We did not take huge portions of food and did not waste anything we brought to the table. We also sat in the back, we weren’t loud or disruptive in anyway, and not in the restaurant for an unreasonable amount of time (about an hour or so total). So we didn’t understand why we were both the “target of the night.” When it came time to pay we did not leave a tip because of the service, and our server was visibly upset by it, and they expressed this verbally. I explained to them politely the reason behind not leaving a tip, because we both felt disrespected while eating and mocked honestly, and this caused them to begin berating us for our experience. They did at one point switch to their native language during the conversation so we couldn’t understand what they were saying. We both were polite during this altercation and explained AGAIN why we weren’t leaving a tip, and eventually they walked off and continued the behavior of pointing and whispering. We both paid for our meals and left right after that and haven’t been back since. There are very nice and friendly staff at this establishment, so I was completely stunned by this...

FOOD POISON ALERT!!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! just got the by the pound take away tonight at about 7:30/8pm. I paid cash my total came out to 20.88 and I gave them $21 and walked away. My food they were serving has gone off. Not all of it but the fried spring rolls are rancid. Not like “ew I don’t like them” bit more like I took a bite and knew something was seriously wrong. The sour taste of metal and the squishy texture was not what any filling should be like. Also their peanut chicken tasted exactly like fish. Not like it was fried in the same oil like once you took a bite and chewed you had this fishy icky undertone to it where if it wasn’t rancid then it would have been in just a lurker more time. The white rice was crunchy and the fried rice was actually dripping with something like a clear ish colored liquid. Not condensation it was something in or on the rice that was dropping off and out of it. Very off putting and nasty. This isn’t my first time eating here I’ve been here plenty and have enjoyed myself in the past here. I’m really upset. Things are so expensive now days that there least you can do is serve not rotten food to your customers. We know the quality level of places like this. I’m not expecting top quality. But I’m expecting to not get sick if I eat here. I’m going in first thing when they open to speak to someone…. Wish me luck! I want my money back this is horrific I’m never eating another thing there and I recommend no one eat there either! Choose another...
