I've never really liked this restaurant and I don't know why. I can count on one hand how many times I've actually gone inside the building...and always at other people's request. This past weekend, my family was looking to kill some time and get some lunch. We passed on the first couple of restaurant options, for various reasons, and settled on UNO'S. Initially, my husband tried to call ahead to make sure we didn't need a reservation but no one answered the phone. Upon arrival, my husband went in to, again, make sure there wasn't a large wait. There were no workers up front and he stood there a couple of minutes. At that point, he saw that the restaurant wasn't busy and came to get me and our two kids. By the time we all walked in, there was someone up front and we were seated. We decided on what we wanted to eat and waited to be served. When the server came up, we explained that we wanted to put the kids orders in with the appetizer. I allowed my kids to tell the server what they wanted and started to give our appetizer order. She abruptly stopped me and as she quickly walked away told us she had to put the kids order in first. This completely shocked me and I called out to her and asked her to explain what had just happened. She turned to look at me from where she was at and again told me she had to bring out the kids order first. I was extremely annoyed at this point because she obviously didn't want to explain to me what their "procedure" was. I again, more firmly, asked her to please come back to our table and explain why she had just walked away. She complied and yet again just repeated that she had to do the kid's order first. I asked her why wouldn't she explain that before interrupting me and walking off. I was done at this point and still completely confused why she couldn't just take our order and then put in the order into the computer however and whenever she needed (covid-19 had changed things for servers and I understand that). Needless to say....we walked out. If they had certain protocols in place, they should probably take the time to explain to customers what they need to do in whatever order they need to do it. Most people will appreciate knowing what the steps are instead of being so rudely kept in the dark. We went to another restaurant who took good care of us and after we told them what had happened, they were just as...
Read morewe went to dinner after a long 5-hour day of an event. there were about 10 of us, and I didn't expect the food to be on time or anything. but when we got there we literally waited a whole hour before we were actually asked if there was anything we'd like for dinner. and our appetizers literally did not come out for 45 minutes and there was only four of us that got appetizers. our waitress was great, but she was a little bit flirtatious with some of the gentleman that we had there that were special guests they were performers and one of them was very well known in the music industry. was very disappointed in that behavior. when I ordered my thin crust pizza, it was absolutely disgusting. The pizza itself was soggy it was thin crust, and it was just terrible. That's all I can say it was disgusting and terrible. The gentleman who was very well known in the industry of music, also got a thing crust pizza and was highly disappointed. The honey barbecued boneless wings over excellent. and I think pretty much that was all that was really good as far as hot food goes. our molten lava cake ice cream was complimentary we got three of them to share at the table which made absolutely no sense. she said that we would all receive a dessert on the house since we were all there paying and she comes out with only three. and the head of our organization looked at me and I looked at him and we were both kind of in shock. she just got done telling us each and every single person at that table would receive a complimentary dessert and she brought out three and then gave all of us spoons to share. we were just so disappointed in the service and the food that we will absolutely never go back there again. and we will not recommend this restaurant to anybody. I'm just so disappointed in how the whole night went. it was great conversation but terrible terrible...
Read moreMy family has been going for over four years with Name that Tune. Usually exceptional service but Wednesday, June 15, was the worst experience. Server rushed us and didn't listen when we tried to explain that weren't done ordering. She blamed me for not giving her my loyalty code when I had shown her and she did acknowledge it by saying 'ok' but didn't write it down. I had a $10 coupon and the coupon wasn't on the premature bill. And that's when I was accused of not showing it and if it was on my account, it would be applied. She applied a BOGO $10 offer which only gave $5 off instead and the 2x points weren't applied. So, no she never put in my loyalty code and we had to go back to the restaurant to have it fixed. As for being rushed, she asked us if wanted boxes which we responded yes, two. She never asked if wanted anything else and the previous week she asked if wanted boxes and upon her return, and asked if we wanted anything else which we did. This time she brought the boxes and the check and l told her we aren't done and she responded, 'ok' and quickly left to talk with bar patrons. When she returned for payment, I told her weren't done and she said, 'well you asked for boxes' and I said, 'no, asked if we wanted boxes' and then brought up the missing $10 credit and that's when the blaming started regarding the code. If you want people to return, don't blame the customers and make them...
