As with any fast food restaurant the food is going to be the same from one store to the next. What isn't always the case is the experience. I used the drivethru and as always it's get them out as fast as possible. This is the normal for any fast food chain. They took my credit card, gave me our food and I nor the cashier remembered to get the card back. A day later I realized I had left my card. Called them to see if my card was indeed there. It was, but it's a 60 mile trip to get back to their restaurant. I asked if they could send it by mail to me and I would cover postage if necessary. The manager stated that it was a policy that they would only release a card in person. I explained that it was a 120 mile round trip for us. That's 10 gallons of Diesel fuel and 3 hours of time for me. Again, she stated that it was a corporate policy so that people couldn't steal cards. I asked her if she believed in common sense, she did. However, If I call a restaurant out of the blue, tell them my name, the card, the number and what color it is the chances of another Jeffrey Heitzenrater that stopped in your restaurant with that same card etc is astronomical! Why they couldn't have popped it into the mail is beyond me because I did call Corporate and there is no policy like that. This was just someone in a position that could have made a bad experience into a good one. Instead she continued leaving me feeling unwelcomed and left me having a terrible personal experience. Lesson learned I hope for the leadership team. You really should think more common sense and help out VS doing the least amount of...
Read moreI visited this Arby's after searching for about an hour for somewhere to get some warm food. It was 11:40 and my coworker and I had been driving for about 38 hours and were so happy to see this place was still open. Sadly, I was towing a large boat with my massive pickup(c4500 Kodiak) and couldn't fit through the drive thru... I went up to the window to the dining room and was simply ignored. This kind of aggravated me... At least tell me to come thru the drive thru or something to talk . I then walked up to the intercom thing and asked if I could be served on foot as my truck was too big to fit. I was again ignored . I walked up to the drive thru window where one employee went to open the window and another came and locked it. My truck and trailer was clearly visible to everyone and was obviously too large. They gave me a bs excuse that they couldn't serve me for security reasons.. I was just really hungry and wanted some brisket .so I ran to my truck went to the parking lot next to it and dropped my trailer from the truck. I pulled in with my truck only and was served with disgusted looks on everyone's face. They knew they had to make my food now. I understand that they probably put everything away and didn't want to have to clean up all over, but if someone wouldve told me that directly in the first place, I probably wouldn't have been so super happy to watch them make me all fresh food. Don't be lazy or at least be straight up about your laziness . My food probably had spit in...
Read moreMy wife and I visited, only 1 other customer in the restaurant. I ordered a basic roast beef sandwich and the new brisket sandwich with no pickles. When I got my food and sat down to eat I started with the brisket sandwich. I added the BBQ sauce (you do that yourself) and tried it, but it seemed no different than a plain roast beef sandwich. Oh well, on to the actual roast beef sandwich. Surprise, in the roast beef sandwich wrapper was the brisket sandwich (WITH PICKLES, I specifically asked for no pickles, and it's on the receipt). The first sandwich was the roast beef sandwich in the brisket wrapper. And since I'd already used the BBQ sauce on the other sandwich which was incorrectly packaged, I went ahead and used the Arby's sauce that was intended for the roast beef on the brisket. I ended up having to remove the meat from the bun because it tasted like pickle juice. Ugh. Why didn't I go complain and have them remake the sandwich? No way, that's all I'm going to say. The brisket actually wasn't bad, it might've been a decent sandwich if made correctly and I could've enjoyed it. Not to be unkind but I just don't see what's so difficult about making a sandwich with no pickles and correctly packaging or marking it. Especially when paying almost $40 for 3 sandwiches and a...
