Seriously people? I see a 3.5-star rating on this place. I guess none you’ll peoples know what’s a real Chinese food taste like, giving it a high score. I know, it only Chinese Buffet in Bartow you can sit and eat for $7.25 which is not bad for the price, however, I can say, it's healthier than eating at McDonald's for about the same price. I can recall that I ate at this place about twelve years ago, I couldn't remember if was good or bad, it been so long. On the way to Lakeland, a buddy of mine asked if this place was any good, but I couldn’t tell him yes or no, it been so long ago. So, we stop in, and to my surprise, I never saw the smallest buffet selection in any others Chinese place I’ve been. Beef doesn’t taste like Beef; I don’t even know what it is. The chicken tasted old like it was yesterday reused, and Pork, don’t taste like pork. After putting few bites into my mouth, it then brought back memories. Now I could recall and remember this place was a horrible place to eat, my friend even also agrees. We barely ate, everything was off taste, spice, meat quality. I was disappointed wondering how this place still open and operate for so long. And the cup of water we both order, they gave us dirty city faucet water. Trust me; this came from two Asian guys writing this review. If you have to eat Chinese food in Bartow, go to Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant, next to the subway, it’s much better-quality food there. If you want to taste a real authentic chinese food, head to Lakeland restaurant called "Peaking House" on S. Florida Ave, next to South gate shopping plaza, I been eating there for 20 years plus, and you'll understand why. Sorry, I have to give one star for this place. "Truly...

We received one of our items being “Fried Cheese Wontons”, which had NO CHEESE. It was completely hollow. Upon calling the take-out restaurant, I was immediately met with confrontation to where I was basically called a liar and that no one else has complained, then a few seconds later this worker (daughter of establishment), stated that there is no way to tell if they have cheese or not due to they are all pre-made months in advance. It is understandable to have an error with an order, but to have to deal with a combative worker is a huge cause to not return. This worker continued to say that my fried cheese wontons did have cheese filled inside even after receiving my text message containing photos of these hollow items. Very poor customer service. I definitely will not be returning. If you are thinking about ordering from this establishment, think twice. TERRIBLE...

Went back to this place and ordered a quart of egg drop soup and the lunch special of sweet and sour chicken. Another customer came in and asked for extra sweet and sour sauce. It turns out they sold that customer the sauce for $0.50, and it was the sauce that should have been with my order. The chicken without the sauce isnt very tasty, their rice isnt that good, so i threw away everything except the soup.. I was already 8 miles away before I discovered no sauce. I won't be returning. Time to find a new Chinese restaurant.

Friendly and great sweet and sour chicken. Not fond of the yellow rice used for fried rice, but that seems to be the norm regardless of where I go in Florida. This is my go to place for Chinese food in Bartow. Would not dine in here. Dining room...
