The recipes are sub par and a little watered down. $14.50 for a 16 oz watered down smoothie and $11 for a 9 oz. The snickerdoodle was disgusting and was made correctly per the recipe, but was just not edible. This is not a good fit for Bastrop. Not with the median income at 80k. We need budget friendly healthy options. Not this. We will not go back. The store's set up is dirty, disorganized and not welcoming. Shelves are sparse and the options to buy are not proven remedies with scientific evidence. Radiant juice sells snake oil remedies that you should question the efficacy of their ingredients. I love natural organic well sourced ingredients. You will not get them here.
July, 12, 2025...You make a lot of assumptions with your reply. It is as if you are saying I do not myself know what organic, healthy food tastes like. My background is rooted in family owned restaurants that also prided ourselves in serving healthy, whole foods. My family, specifically my mom and aunt, taught us the importance of organic healthy foods. I am accused, by many of my friends, for being too crunchy granola, and no process foods, Vera. No joke. I have had to explain for over 20 years why I am this way.
Your store falls short because of how you showcase your product. Your bulk items are in jars with no labels. It looks tacky and I cannot know where it comes from or how it was originally packaged. Your employees are not as knowledgeable as you think. With so little customers you would think your store would look immaculate, but it looks like a bare storage room. Not swept and lots of dust on items that have been there a long time. How are you making money?
I grew up here in Cedar Creek, and since I was 6 years old, (46 now) there have always been a group of people here that was very hippie and all about growing our own veggies, and milking our goats...I like goat milk in my granola...same goats milk we used to make our homemade feta....I could go on but you get the point. You make too many assumptions thinking us country bumpkins cannot possibly know what healthy food tastes like...well dear, you couldn't be further from the truth. I wanted your smoothie joint to be my new go to for healthy bulk times, but I guess I will have to be patient and wait for the Sprouts to be finished. Then you will be put completely out of business. You won't be able to compete with a store who actually knows how to sell organic healthy items to the masses on a budget.
The girl in the store tried to give me a refund, which didn't work. Still waiting on my refund, even after I drove from my home back to your store immediately after tasting the product. I brought the smoothie back it was so gross. I like earthy foods and thrive on no chemicals. I can taste when food had pesticides/chemicals used on them and it is horrible that we even have to deal with this since food is so essential. I love homegrown meals and I grow my own herbs. I rent so gardening isn't as easy which is why I like places like Sprouts and Trader Joe's. So take your condescending assumptions somewhere else. Your store is not what Bastrop needs.
I speak from the heart when I say, You are not welcome here with your better than us...
Read moreThis place is so sad, so bad.
The server seemed to not know how to make the drink (I ordered Golden Milk from the menu, no substitutions or additions) and I was skeptical of the ingredients they used—it looked like old coconut juice in a mason jar.
But I was really craving fresh juice and health foods, and I want to support places that serve them, so I loaded up on whatever they had.
Things I observed: juice is not made fresh. It’s made and bottled offsite and given what appears to be a 2 month expiration date.
The to-go juices (nothing pasteurized, mind you) had expiry dates a month and a half away, and equally as many from a month and a half passed. Um, fresh juice does NOT stay good for that long!
Much of what’s on the shelves is expired. The packaged dark chocolates, the medicine shots, the “fresh” juice.
Maybe if it wasn’t outrageously expensive ($13/16oz juice—not freshly made), more inventory would move?
I didn’t notice the expiry dates until after I paid, and there was no equivalent alternative, so I ate the mistake.
I ended up regretting not getting a refund, because in addition to the old juices, the “hot” beverage I ordered was room temp and tasted rancid and I’m afraid to try the bottled juice.
The Golden Milk I ordered was rancid! The nasty looking stuff in a mason jar was indeed nasty.
Whomever is training the crew in the made-to-order drinks, please teach these well meaning youngsters how to say, “I’m sorry, I don’t know how to make that,” or, “we ran out of the ingredients,” instead of serving a bad drink.
The fresh baked goods were delicious. Maybe they need to focus on making more of those. Whatever the case, this place needs to rethink what it’s doing—it looks ready to close any day now based off all the expired stuff.
The juices are old and are a ripoff.
I was very disappointed that I...
Read moreI have been buying products from Danielle for I think over a year now. I love everything I have gotten from her. I use her elderberry syrup for my whole family. I have bought the one for kids the regular and the immunity. They all tasted good and it has kept us all from Struggling with allergies it also got us to get rid of the flu quickly last year. We started taking it from there on a regular and haven’t gotten the flu again. We have also used the exfoliating scrubs and love that as well as the fire cider.
I recently went to her juice bar and tried some smoothies and juice and they were wonderful! So excited to now have a local juice bar in Bastrop! Good luck Danielle!
Everyone go check her location out! Thanks for keeping my family healthy!
Update: I recently started using the calm energy elderberry syrup for my son and myself. My son is six years old and struggles with concentrating and completing assignments. I am giving him half a medicine cup and I am taking a full medicine cup every morning. It keeps us going and helps us both be productive.
I also recently started using the CBD joint pain cream , it has been so great for my back and my neck completely taking my pain away. I feel like lately I’m using it a ton but this time for my migraines. It’s been so nice not to have to rely...
