MoMo Tea — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

Delicious boba tea drinks and smoothies, yes, but coffee is top one or two in town. Iced latte with brown sugar syrup is supreme. And coffee taste is so delicious (and not over-roasted), I've started drinking it less sweet after the wonderful Melina gently suggested I try it that way. I now get 50% sweet (love being able to adjust the level of sweetness so easily!)

I also bring my own container to get multiple shots of espresso which I keep on hand in fridge to make iced drinks at home when I won't be able to stop by the location.

Finally branching out to sample the rest of momo's ample menu and can highly recommend the Thai milk tea, chestnut praline milk tea and the new menu item, Hokkaido milk tea! All are delicious and addictive. Oolong Milk Tea also very nice.

Was beyond thrilled that this place survived covid and is now open again doing curbside pickup (11a to 6.30p). It sometimes looks dark inside when it's open; don't be put off. Friendly, patient staff provide personalised attention. Dont forget to leave a tip to help these fine folks recover!

Update May 2021: now open till 7!! (At least for the longer day months). Still closed on...

My friend and I had a very disheartening experience ordering here. I ordered two drinks, both with no ice. The first was made as requested, but the second one had ice. Cool, no big. Simple fix, easy to overlook even though I had mentioned no ice twice for both drink. However, instead of remaking the drink, the ice was just "removed" from the drink. So I received a slightly over half full drink, instead of the full one I paid for. Also, my friend who was ordering behind me was pretty much ignored during the entire time I was waiting for my order even though she was standing at the counter to order her drink. Suffice to say, won't be back...

P.S. I used to really like this place, been there probably over a dozen times. Not sure what was going on this time, but it really did kill the vibe. Worse yet was that we were really looking forward to going. So for me now, it's a shame but a...

The time listed to close is 6:30pm on Google. I arrived at the cafe at 3:54pm, and there was a paper sign taped to the entrance that stated the following “Will Re-open after 4”. Since I arrived close to the time the paper sign stated the cafe would be open for business again, I waited.

I waited 20 minutes, but nobody showed up. I tried to call Momo to see if there was a mistake with the time the paper sign stated. When I called, an employee picked up the phone, and then the employee didn’t say anything for 10-15 seconds when they answered. They then chose to hang up the work phone. By this time it was 4:15 which is past the time the paper stated it would open.
