I recently went there (probably 2ish weeks ago?) and thought about coming back today, but then I remembered how anxious the last time made me feel (coursey location is even worse even though its closer to my house...thats why I was so disappointed after this experience because this was my main location) They must have gotten a new manager...Dorine or Dorothy??? She was very rude and quite abrasive, not only to me, but she visibly had an attitude to customers, employees, anyone that came in her way.. Her mask was slipping off her face which made me uncomfortable. She wanted customers out as fast as she could get them through the door, she had little to no interaction and at one point was texting on her phone when someone was waiting to be checked out. Things didn't look clean at all, there was food in different bins YUCK!!! the other manager Cole (?) was there and another girl (I didnt see her name) with braids, they seemed to be the only ones actually interacting with customers and cleaning things simultaneously. I even brought up the fact to Dorine that their was egg in the food bin i wanted and she said she would take care of it because i am allergic to egg... I finished making the rest of my salad and waited by the container i needed for 10 minutes while i watched her bicker and complain to her employees and hold them up from helping me if she wouldn't. Finally I went up to the register the other manager Cole (?) was at and as soon as he finished checking someone out he came to help me and asked me how i was in the meantime. I told him how bad I felt for having to disturb him (the way the other manager made me feel) and he made it clear it wasn't a problem at all, and even related to me on my dietary restriction saying when he goes to restaurants he feels the same way. Needless to say I will probably only be coming back if I see the nice guy working... my anxiety is bad enough as it is... I don't need to go to a self serve restaurant that i know will give me social anxiety from a mean lady that doesn't like her job. The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because I ended up enjoying my conversation with the gentlemen...
Read moreUpdate to 1 star on 6-10-22. Walked in at 6:45. Iceberg was wilted. Nothing on hot bar. The pesto chicken they usually have was gone. Workers were very dismissive. Said they didn’t have any more iceberg because we close at 7…30. And didn’t have any more of the pesto chicken or the other hot item usually on the salad bar. Left what I made on the counter and left. I’m not paying $15 for a salad without fresh lettuce and without everything available. Close at 6:30 if you don’t want people in there after then. Previous 5 star review-First time here. Really surprised at how good it was. Probably 100 options to put in salad. 7.59 a pound was reasonable. I added everything I like from every type of salad I like and made the “ultimate amazing best ever salad”. Plus, the person making my salad was really really...
Read moreSalad Station is a Self Serve Salad Making Shop. Every item they have is fresh and always in rotation with new fresher produce once an item starts to empty. It is mandatory to wear a mask to keep their customers safe, and provide sanitizer before making your salad and plastic gloves. This keeps not only the customers but also their employers safe. There's also a soup and a small hot bar after the salad bar.
The price of your order is by the weight of your salad and soup (if you choose to get one). Drinks have their own price. Overall, this location is a very safe, decently priced Salad Shop that I tend to go to almost every lunch break for work. Definitely a satisfied and frequent customer...
