I ordered the grilled chicken Caesar salad, and it was absolutely spot on. From the moment it arrived, I could tell this was going to be a solid dish. The romaine was crisp, fresh, and perfectly chilled—exactly what you want in a great Caesar. Each bite had that satisfying crunch, and the leaves were cut to the perfect size for easy eating. Nothing was wilted or soggy, which shows real attention to quality.
The dressing was rich, creamy, and well-balanced. It had a fantastic tanginess, a smooth texture, and just the right hint of garlic and Parmesan. Some dressings are too thick or overpowering, but this one had the ideal consistency—coating the lettuce without drowning it. There was also a slight umami depth, likely from anchovies, which added that signature Caesar flavor without being too fishy.
Now, let’s talk about the chicken. This wasn’t just an afterthought—it was grilled beautifully, with a slightly charred, golden-brown exterior and a juicy, tender interior. The seasoning was on point, enhancing the natural flavor of the chicken without competing with the dressing. It added a heartiness to the salad that made it feel like a complete meal rather than just a side dish. The portion was generous, too—plenty of chicken in every bite.
The Parmesan was another highlight. They used real shaved Parmesan instead of the pre-grated kind, and it made a huge difference. The thin, delicate flakes melted slightly into the dressing, adding a salty, nutty complexity that elevated the whole dish. Every now and then, you’d get a perfect bite with crispy lettuce, creamy dressing, tender chicken, and a burst of Parmesan—it was Caesar salad perfection.
The portion size was just right—not too small, not too overwhelming. There was an even distribution of ingredients, ensuring that no bite was bland or unbalanced. I appreciated that the dressing was thoroughly mixed in without leaving dry spots or making the salad soggy.
Presentation-wise, it looked fantastic. The bright green of the romaine, the golden-brown chicken, the pale ivory of the Parmesan, and the creamy dressing combined into a visually appealing dish. It was served in a sturdy, eco-friendly cardboard container, making it easy to eat without any mess. The black plastic fork provided was durable enough to handle the chicken pieces without breaking—always a plus.
If I had to nitpick, I would say that a few extra croutons would have been nice for added crunch. While the salad didn’t necessarily need them, I personally enjoy the extra texture contrast. That said, the balance of flavors and textures was so well-executed that I didn’t feel like anything was truly missing.
Overall, this was one of the best Caesar salads I’ve had in a long time. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were bold and well-balanced, and the portion was satisfying. It felt like a carefully prepared, high-quality dish rather than a basic, thrown-together salad. If you’re looking for a great Caesar with perfectly grilled chicken, this is absolutely the one to get. I’ll definitely be coming back...
