*UPDATED REVIEW CHANGED FROM 1 to 4.0
UPDATED 12/7/24 I spoken with owner Saad days ago. I explained to him about the food and Uber Eats not refunding for hair found in food. He admitted it was an honest mistake by a lazy worker. Normally this does not always happen. He was kind and respectful to give me a $50 gift card for any food store. I used that $50 gift card to give Fluffies one more chance. I ordered deserts and the chicken mac n cheese again.
Banana Pudding - 3.5/5 I would have given the banana pudding a 4.0-4.5/5 if it had fresh bananas. The pudding was good overall just missing bananas.
The Tiramisu was a 4.5/5 on point Would consider ordering it again.
I also ordered the mango lassi It was very good. It was hard to tell if fresh mangoes were used or mango pulp. But i liked it I give it a 4.5/5
Now the mac n cheese chicken. The chicken this time did not have too much salt like the chicken wrap did. The mac n cheese was hot. I will give that a solid 4.0/5
I will consider ordering shakes and lassi again as well as the Tiramisu. Maybe the chicken with mac n cheese again. Thats about it. I appreciate the owner and management team for being honest. Thank you!
Old review: I am extremely disappointed on the food at this place. Itâs overpriced. The hype couldnât be real. I will start by the chicken slider. The chicken itself had too much salt. Do they want customers to get blood pressure? Iâm not sure if they know but I found a piece of hair inside the box below the bun. Really disappointing and NO uber eats did not refund me.
The Tadoori chicken Frankie roll is a hot mess. Pure soggy with oil. I wonder what oil they use. Itâs leaky bland chicken. Tasted little raw not cooked thoroughly.
The Fluffies Filled mac with extra chicken. The mac and cheese was average. The chicken did not taste all so well. I get it. The fast food has to make money. But being overpriced like McDonalds for subpar food is wrong. I did not try their shakes or deserts, will consider trying that and will give my honest feedback. But Iâm not eating any hot food here for the second time. I dont want a heart attack for...
Read moreFluffies is hands down one of the best places to eat! Their food is always on point, and Iâve never had a single complaint. The staff is absolutely excellentâthey are kind, welcoming, and maintain a very clean environment, making every visit a pleasant experience.
One thing that really sets Fluffies apart is their commitment to serving authentic halal food. They have a proper halal certification posted on the Front Door from their meat vendor, and anyone can call to verify that Fluffies is officially registered with them. Unlike some other restaurants that print fake certificates without their store name, Fluffies is completely transparent about where their meat comes from.
On the other hand, some places like Indian Flame Grill and BBQ Chicken have been caught using misleading halal certificates that donât even have their store names on them. When you call the vendors they claim to be certified by, those vendors confirm that these restaurants arenât registered and donât actually buy halal meat from them. Itâs clear that theyâre trying to deceive Muslim customers just to make a quick buck.
If a restaurantâs halal certificate doesnât have its name on it, thatâs a huge red flag. Halal meat is significantly more expensive than regular meat, so some places cut corners to maximize profits. But at Fluffies, you can trust that youâre getting genuine halal food. Amazing food, amazing people, and a place you can...
Read moreAfter my first bite I thought âI need to load up my EZpass, because Iâll be back!!â I live in NYC (Staten Island ) and Iâll pay the toll to get this food!đ©đ© long story short my son wanted Popeyes, I said no, we can do better but unfortunately SI doesnât have good fried chicken (outside of my house & I wasnât cooking dinner that night). So I googled fried chicken in Bayonne, saw the rave reviews and came across the Bayonne bridge.
The service & hospitality was great, the 2 women were pleasant, I saw the communication between the front & back of the house. The banana pudding!!đ©đ©đ© so good and refreshing! The Mac & cheese is Good and cheesy and creamy and my sandwich!!đđđ« đ«đ had me going through emotions! The first bite, I stared up in the sky and pondered my life decisions and why am I just finding this place now?? The naan bread was so soft and fresh tasting (and the best I ever had), the chicken was juicy, the slaw added great texture & flavor and the secret sauce!đ BABY!! So good!!
I told my son (who got a signature chicken sandwich and devoured it) weâre budgeting For this place and will be back soon to try the other things in the menu. Idk whose idea to open this Place & menu ideas but thank you! Im just passionate about food as a chef and sometimes NYC chicken is lackluster. Believe me, we have awesome food in NYC but in SI itâs either a hit or miss and surely nothing like...
