Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service at Subway – Baytown, TX Location
To whom it may concern,
On July 24th,2025, I visited the Subway located at 6608 Garth Rd, Baytown, Texas 77521 due to an urgent need to use the restroom. I was in distress and close to having an accident, so I entered the store and used the restroom without any employee initially addressing me.
However, upon exiting, an employee named Jesus stopped me and asked if I planned to buy anything. I replied that I wasn’t, and he then told me not to come into the store again just to use the restroom if I’m not going to make a purchase. This caught me off guard, especially as it was my first time ever visiting that location.
I asked for contact information to report the issue, and Jesus pointed to a number on the window, which appeared to be for a security or lock company—not Subway’s corporate contact.
Trying to resolve the situation respectfully, I offered to purchase a cookie. While he completed the sale, there was no customer service or courtesy shown during the interaction, and the overall experience was very unprofessional.
As a regular Subway customer, I’ve never encountered this kind of treatment at other locations. I believe emergencies should be met with understanding, and customer service should always remain respectful.
I hope this issue can be addressed, and that the staff at this location receives training on how to better handle customer interactions—especially in unforeseen or sensitive situations like this.

I got up to the counter to pay and she asked me if they are separate or together and I said separate but you can bag them together. The then asked what was the first one so I told her and she she said “I just need to know the meat” with an attitude and I said oh ok and told her what meat each one was. Then she asked if I wanted drink I said yes and she rang them up together and gave me the total. I told her no they’re separate and she rolled her eyes and started arguing with me saying “that’s what I asked you in the first place” so I said no and corrected her again and she continued to have a terrible attitude and argue with me. He checked the receipt and he paid $37.24 for 2 foot long sandwiches ( chicken teriyaki & tuna) no drink no chip. The cost for the 2 foot long are $17.73 (green line) and they charged him $19.51 for tip (blue line)They charged him more than the sandwiches themselves! He definitely did not add those tip when he used his debit card!!! That’s over 100% for tip!! And it said that he dine in when in fact it was to go! I tried to call the number but no one answered!
