The lack of customer service in this store is disgusting , if âJames Avery Artisan â wasnât posted on the build this place would be out of business. When I say this place has the poorest quality of service in a staff/Leadership I mean it !!! You will experience rude , abysmal, ignorant , childish attitudes, etc âŚ..in this establishment. Upon my visit at this location I had a simple return that I provided a receipt for (purchase date 12/7/23 ), the item ( new unused (To The Moon Back Pendant) , the original bag/pouch , and box . The initial associate that was assisting me requested the help of Lead LeeAnn to authorize my return. Lead LeeAnn initially stated that she would not refund or exchange my item due to the state of my item being âdamagedâ. I informed Leeann that the item never left the box we had just purchased it on the 7th and decided to get something different . She insisted it was and even had the audacity to try and hand me a jewelers loop to inspect the item to see so called âdings/scratchesâ and gave me lesson on benchwork (which is above her pay grade and skill set). I then requested to speak to the Store Manager due to her nasty rude attitude , LeeAnn and associate both disappeared for about 5-6 minutes only to not return with the store manager , LeeAnn then stated that â I would ALLOW you to return the itemâ. The transaction then proceeds on with Lead LeeAnn standing over my initial associate that was assisting me . LeeAnn then interjected herself into the transaction to verbally verified that I did still had the form of payment which I stated it was fine for the funds to go back to the original card . She proceeds to request to look my card to verify that it was mines . Which concluded my services there , LeeAnn tried to intimidate , humiliated and belittled me in front of the staff , and other customers. I then took pictures to provide customer service/ store review and she reached for my phone and threatened to call the police on me . If that wasnât the worst part she then stole my receipt and ran to the back of the store leavening me with the original associate bewildered. I once again requested to speak to a manager to receive my receipt and communication LeeAnn rudeness. After few minutes goes by LeeAnn resurfaced with my receipt in hand only to telling the manager that she wasnât indeed not going to relinquish receipt. After a while the manager retrieve my receipt and returns it to me. The whole ordeal made me feel as if I wasnât a valued customer/ guest which is super disheartening. Iâve been collecting James Avery for years Iâve never been treated or spoken too so rudely. Below to the left is my pendant I was returning and to the right a pendant from their stock she used to give...
Read moreI am not one to write reviews but I really feel like this one is needed. This Baytown James Avery is terrible đ I have given this store multiple chances before, a few years back since it was the one closest to me. Whenever we would go I would never, another incident involved where my husband was trying to get me an anniversary gift and they said they couldn't take him in even though there was 15 minutes left and he already knew what he wanted i was with him. I stopped going because the customer service was horrible. Well, fast forward to now, I tried to give it another shot and no, nothing. I am still receiving the same horrible customer service that I always have received and the manager named Perla is very rude I took in a brand new ring that has not been worn, and she claims it can't be exchanged. Every time I go to change something I take it with the receipt and it's always been new or I take it with a gift recipit. Any how I always go with some sort of proof of purchase. Even with the receipt and the receipt having the date of not even 10 days form todays date she did not have a reason and just simply didn't want to all she said was it was dirty but even the employee agreed it was not and even the other employee around her. Every employee I've gone with with the exception of Dacia was very rude, gives rude stares and just make me feel unwelcome and unwanted to shop there. I never come off as rude I have even tried going through the whole time smile or just being nice even though they don't deserve it and still nothing has changed. It is unacceptable. I much rather drive and continue to go back and drive 30 minutes into the next Avery where they're always so genuine, generous, helpfulness, explain, patient, and kind no matter what you need or look like and that is the West Lake Market Place James Avery in Houston/...

While purchasing my granddaughter's bracelet along with 4 charms, I noticed and Indian lady come in the store. Then an older Caucasian male. A couple of groups of Hispanic families and younger group's of young African American youth. Do you know that each of these groups and individuals were treated respectfully, kindly and sensitively and literally cared for as if they were family of James Avery. I'm so impressed by this establishment until I don't want to shop at any other James Avery store except the one in Baytown.
Shout out to the employees at James Avery Artisans located in Baytown, Texas, where you're treated with the utmost dignity. SPECIAL THANKS to Ms, Jackie who waited on and treated my 10 year old Zena like a SUPERSTAR.
This young lady had Zena thinking she was the cats meow. She carefully explained everything to Zena glass case by glass case showing trinkets and charms. Zena was so excited and started pointing to what she wanted. Ms. Jackie kindly expressed, "Well, hold on because you might like this one over here better." She wrote down every charm that Zena said she liked or wanted. Then she retrieved each charm from a case and the specific chain that Zena picked. This was so much fun for me to watch.
Ms. Jackie asked Zena where exactly did she want to place each charm on the bracelet and VOILA!!!!! Zena's charm bracelet was created.
Thank you, Ms. Jackie! You're the reason that I'm coming back to this very spot to get my very own charm...
