First of all, I'm not coming back. I was not greeted when I walked in the doors, it was quiet as hell even with 3 overall people in the middle of the day eating and a tv playing on low. I ordered miso soup with tofu and a side of 5 takoyaki balls and I waited 20 minutes. I got my food, I got no receipt as my proof of purchase. Huh, if I got food poisoning I could never prove that I ate here other the picture I took of the menu on the booth table. The bag felt warm so I assumed my food was fresh and hot and ready to go. I thought my food would be as great as the ratings said so shrugged it off and took my food back home to eat. I got home 5 minutes later and opened the bag. In a little white to go container was my nasty $2.50 "miso soup", I didn't want to judge the soup on smell or look, but it was not pleasant, you can keep your oily water. I saw cloudy white oily water with 6 chopped green onions floating on the surface. Where was my tofu??? I saw 5 tiny solid white tofu pieces at the bottom of the container (smaller than a ladybug) when I stirred my soup around I see 1 green slice of seaweed. Really? It left a bad aftertaste in my mouth, very bland like oil and water boiled together in a pot all day in hopes of the green onions making a difference. The takoyaki balls were nasty, straight up soggy and I think my food was plated soggy. I took a bite and in my mouth was a solid little octopus tentacle still intact. Well at least I know what im eating I guess. Waste of money, expensive for no reason, go to JINYA RAMEN at least they greet you loud and clear at the door and seat you down at the first open spot they...
Read moreThe Food was honestly SO GOOD! We got the Yummy Chicken Ramen, the Pork Bao, some dumplings as an appetizer, we also got Green Tea Mochi and strawberry cheesecake. Ok so first the sauce we got with the dumplings was really good like sweet I think it was some kind of fish or soy sauce. Then there was the Ramen it came with the white and pink fish cake which was good with the chicken broth then the noodles like soaked up the juice which was also very good. Also the Pork Bao was DELICIOUS the buns where soft and the sauce was delicious the sauce was the main flavor it was the spicy mustard, which really wasn't spicy,I liked it a lot and the other flavors of the sandwich where faint and really brought the bao together. The Cheesecakewas also really good it came with little spoons too,I loved them, and the mochi had whippcream on it and sprinkles on it it was pretty good 👍. Overall Everything was DELICIOUS , it...
Read moreUpdate: I revised my rating as management was eager to correct the mistake and even offered recommendations. They even offered to take the crab roll off our bill which was nice of them but was not necessary. This place is attentive to their customers which I appreciate, if there is anything wrong with your order just let them know and they will get it right for you.
I was disappointed with their tempura roll. It is 90% cucumber, it should be labeled as cucumber roll with shrimp tempura. I also ordered the snow crab roll. The artifical crab in the roll was just dry and didn't have a good mouthful which was another disappointment.
The calamari appetizer was good and what we usually order. The pork katsu bao is also good with the flavored teas.
Overall my disappointment was with the rolls but everything else that we ordered...
