Our section had about 6 tables, my husband and I, ordered onion blossom petals, and buffalo wings for an appetizer. Then we ordered the 3 for 18.99 add 2 dollars for the half slab of ribs. Our bill was 47 dollars and some change. Number one a handful of onion petals is not worth 8 dollars. The 10 cold buffalo wings, with 3 pieces of hot celery are no where near worth 11 dollars. And the 3 for 18.99 is a joke. We got half a pice of jalapeno sausage cut into slices, a maybe 4oz piece of chicken and a half of ribs is 4 ribs. The piece of burnt texas toast wasn't even edible. Needless to say we did not finish our meal. We got there at a little after 6, it was not busy maybe 3 other tables in our section when we left there were only 6 tables in our section. The table of young men behind us got amazing service as they ordered their beers and margaritas. We on the other had had to go ask the hostess for the only refill we got on our cokes ( we sat for 30 minutes without drinks, and 15 minutes when we got there before the waitress came to our table) seems like once we told the waitress we were sharing the 18.99 combo she wrote us off. I do not recommend the cold, flavorless, over priced food at chilis at all. Not to mention the service. I will never pay 50 dollars for maybe 20 dollars worth of food again. I worked in a restaurant as a waitress for many years, and not once did I treat a customer like they weren't worth my time because of what they ordered. I served 15 to 30 tables at a time during breakfast rush and bar crowd rus . And never once did I leave a table sitting for refills for more than a couple minutes. 6 to 7 tables is no excuse for cold food and no drinks. When the table behind us had excellent service! This is the first and last time i will ever go to a chilis, that was one of the worst meals I have ever had to pay...
Read moreIf I could give this experience 0 stars I would. My family and I just left this establishment in complete disgust. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life. We dined in for my grandmothers 68th birthday. We made a reservation for a party of 15 ppl. As someone who works in hospitality myself, we knew there would be some kind of wait for the size of our party. We sat for 2 hrs waiting for some ppl to get their food. We were even told by their staff that those who were waiting, their food hadn’t even been started. Though it was my grandmothers birthday she received her food last. Once they begun bringing out the food of those waiting, everyone else was finished eating and waiting for their checks. My aunts food didn’t even come at all. The poor waitress apologized bc her food was never cooked. The manager refused to show face and my mom had to ask the staff multiple times to have him come out. Sadly the poor waitress had to keep being the face of the issue bc the manager refused to. He finally showed face once everyone had left. He apologized to the 3 of us who were still there and gave e10% off for the inconvenience which is a joke. Also $5 gift cards which is also a joke. $5 in this economy, interesting. Oh and the ppl who didn’t eat still had to pay for their drinks (pop and lemonade). We’re completely upset by this experience, especially for such occasion. We even had family who drove hrs for this celebration only to have to get their food to go.
Please consider else where if you plan to celebrate a love one bc clearly the love isn’t at chili’s. I don’t want to bring this to TikTok but...
Read moreAt first, we ordered the chips and salsa, and the chips were so undercooked they were soggy, so we let them know that the chips were like that, and they brought another basket of chips and the waitress stated “I found one that doesn’t have AS MUCH undercooked chips” excuse me?? Furthermore, I have Ulcerative Colitis and in the menu with the brisket quesadillas, they did not include that they had jalapeños. I told the waitress when first coming in I had a diet restriction with my disease and that I couldn’t have the corn or anything spicy, and when I ordered the brisket quesadillas the waitress neglected to tell me further that it had jalapeños. Come to find out, I didn’t know that until I had already chewed and swallowed a piece as my throat became on fire and almost within the same hour I was vomiting profusely and became extremely ill, along with my fiance, (not sure what he had to cause that though). Then, as the waitress was apologetic, we waited for the manager to remove the brisket quesadillas from the check as the waitress said we could do, and the manager never wound up doing that, so the waitress split the check and only made me pay one portion of it, leaving the brisket out. Only reason I put one star was because the Mac n cheese was so good, (pasta was slightly...
