Daisy's Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup — Restaurant in Beaverton

Embarrassing canned tomato soup that the menu and staff say is included, yet they upcharge you two dollars for it. You can buy a can of better soup (and get more btw) for that cost and warm it yourself. The grilled cheese was honestly okay, nothing special about it. Real shame because they could do a lot more but they choose to be basic and charge you for the pleasure. Way better food carts are available here and have the same hours, as a chef with 20 years under my belt I am saying skip this until the owners figure out what Pomodoro is or what “included” means. Blown Away. I consider myself a bit of a foodie and have eaten all across the US at some pretty amazing restaurants and eateries. For a delicious sandwich like the Bacon Caprese I was served, to come out of a food cart, was very unexpected. The soup was Yummy! The young lady at the window was an absolute gem as well. This place is awesome! So excited they decided to open their food truck in Beaverton. They have a plethora of grilled cheese sandwiches. Each one is tasty, with generous portions. I tried the Cubano, and a buddy got the Bacon Caprese, while his son got the Reuben. Each one was filling.

Then the soup is great as well. Very flavorful. Full of tomato and seasoning. What a great lunch!

Service was fantastic as well! Excited to come back and try more...
