This location was recently rebuilt from the ground up. The previous building and staff seemed to work well. The new location, the new staff and the new process of NO COUNTER ORDERING - KIOSK ONLY is (I don't use this term often) literally the absolute worst McDonald's location I have ever (in my entire adult life) visited. The franchise owner and GM must have LOST their minds in regards to signing off on the LAYOUT of this new location and agreeing to making this a KIOSK ONLY location.
It's like the owner and GM have ZERO clue as to the demographic and type of customers they were serving in this area.
Really, this is the worst layout of a dinning room I have ever seen. There is NO service counter, absolutely NO one there to help you with your order, and, ABOVE ALL - there MIGHT be ONE person there that can actually speak English.
The onsite manager and assistant managers are useless, untrained as to how their location operates. If the location requires you to use the Kiosks and the McDonald's app - you better damn well train your employees on how to use the systems and support the customers.
I have visited this location 3 times since it re-opened and it never fails that on each visit I witness with my own eyes at least 2 or 3 customers simply walk out because they don't know what to do (since there is no front counter to order from), do not get ANY SERVICE from the staff, and, in the OFF chance that you do catch the attention of someone working in back there is a very HIGH possibility they will not speak English and are unable to understand you or help you.
Do yourself a favor (unless you're a teenage who lives their lives through their phone and apps) avoid this location at all cost and just drive 3 or 4 down the highway in either direction and visit the Euless or Hurst McDonald's locations that still have a minimal level of service and sanity.
Better yet, just keep driving by this location and visit the Chick-Fil-A, Sonic or Whataburger that are all within walking distance of this exceedingly bad McDonald's location. I mean, really, talk about completely missing the mark on the demographic and neighborhood for which you serve customers in !!! The Franchise owner should have this...
Read moreI have been going to this location for the last 2 years and I’m used to things being wrong or forgotten etc. however I went Saturday afternoon with my kids and their grandfather, and had a terrible experience. At the time of the incident we were the only customers in the store other than a man by himself in the corner. My 2 kids were playing on the playground having fun, and an employee decided that would be the perfect moment to mop the ground right outside of the kids playground. He neglected to put a sign up visible to kids as they are coming and going. He put a sign up on the opposite side of that area, not in the field of vision for anyone coming and going out of the playground. My kids are old enough to read, however you would think that with kids actively playing, you’d wait until the only kids in the building left, to mop the ground right outside of the play area. My 7 year old came to get a drink, and slipped and fell right on his chin and erupted in tears. I took him outside to calm down and the employee came and offered to bring us some ice which I accepted, however the manager never once came by to check on us or see if my child was okay. Upon coming back into the store, I noticed the employee had taken it upon himself to then put a wet floor sign outside of the play area. A little too late for that. We finished our meal and got him some ice cream, and again not once did a manager or anyone come out to apologize or at the very least make sure he was okay. I have gotten my kids a happy meal from this location countless times over the last several years, and I can promise that I will not be spending my money here any more. A little gesture of an apology would have gone a long way, but apparently that wasn’t worth their time or effort. They were too occupied singing happy birthday to someone in the kitchen to come and check on a child that was hurt due to their neglectful actions. He thankfully didn’t bust his chin open, but he does have a bruise on the bottom...
Read moreNasty. Over the years, The manager has a nasty attitude towards customers causing half to walk out with refunds. The manager and employees all cursing and not acknowledging customers. 30+ min wait times every visit, even when it is slow. I don’t see how this place is even open. It is ghetto and the food sucks. Do better McDonald’s. Food is trash, customer service, management, all around environment sucks. They like to delete comments and hide the unprofessional and discriminatory things they do. Horrible service and they can't even make the items on the menu. Two McDonald's and neither could make what i ordered because equipment is always broken. Absolutely ridiculous. Waited 20 minutes in the restaurant just to find out my order could not be made. It is one thing if this was a rare accurance, but unfortunately it happens more than it doesn't. 20-30 minutes waiting on fast food and lucky if you can get what you ordered on any given day. This corporation has become one of the worst fast food chains, Which hurts my heart because as a kid you couldn’t get me or my sister to choice another restaurant or fast food place! Every restaurant I go to is the same thing horrible customer service horrible food quality fries are always cold! The Big Mac is a great sandwich but not good when cold. Meat is usually barely warm if at all, bun is like right out of the bag. Hot burgers would solve most of the problems...
