We stumbled into this restaurant on the way to the grocery store next door in a rainy evening, just looking for a quick snack. The first thing we ran into was this very friendly lady manning the cashier (wish I knew her name) who welcomed us warmly and helped us navigate the menu.
We ordered two tacos, asada and al pastor. The food came on styrofoam plates, but I could tell that the meat and tacos were fresh from the kitchen. The meat was flavourful, and the salsa hit the right level of heat. I regret that we only had time for a quick snack, but from the limited exposure we had to their food, I honestly think that more people should know about their great food and wonderful hospitality to two cold and drenched travelers.

Read moreCame here with some work folks for a coworker's birthday. Didn't know this place was so fancy, they have an oyster bar! Honestly, its not somewhere I would normally frequent, since its a bit pricey but it was a really cool spot. The staff was super nice and friendly. The bread is delicious as was the drinks - I ordered the cider, which wasn't too sweet. We shared fries for the table. Also got the crab cakes, which were very tasty. They brought out a yummy cookie/ice cream dessert for my coworker's birthday, which was really nice. Overall a cool spot, but a bit too fancy...
Read moreI honestly love this place.
The owners are from Los Altos de Jalisco. And as luck would have it I am from Los Altos as well.
My favorite dish is carne en su jugo, this is a typical dish of Guadalajara, Jalisco and they are true to this dish's heritage.
It has the right flavor and all the ingredients with the perfect seasoning.
They also have sea food the campechana is my favorite.
Their tacos are a must.
Don't forget a cold Mexican beer and a Mexican flan for desert.
Come and enjoy this awesome taqueria...
