If you’re looking for Indo-Chinese cuisine that blends comforting flavors with bold spice, Inchin’s Bamboo Garden in Bellevue is a place you’ve likely considered.
Visit #1: Thursday Night (Around 9 PM) – Group of 2
This visit was relaxed and laid-back. The dinner crowd was winding down, so we were seated immediately without any wait. The ambiance had a cozy charm, and I must mention the handwritten-style drink menu—its aesthetic, artsy fonts genuinely caught my eye (font fanatics, you’ll know the vibe!).
What we ordered:
Veg Hot & Sour Soup – A decent starter. Well-balanced but not standout. I don’t recall if fried noodles were served with it, so next time I’d ask.
Steamed Vegetable Momos – Underwhelming. Only 3 pieces for $9, and the flavor was plain and bland. Lacked seasoning and texture. Skip this.
Spicy Thai Basil Fried Rice – 💯 Highly recommend. This was the star of the night. Bold flavor, spicy kick, aromatic herbs, and a perfect stir-fry texture. Great quantity too—easily serves 2.
Street-Style Chow Mein – Nicely done. Balanced flavor, not overly oily, with a fresh crunch of veggies.
📝 Portion sizes were excellent for both the rice and noodles—generous enough to share comfortably.
💡 Pro tip: Each table has a variety of sauces. Don’t miss out! Try pairing them with your momos or noodles to enhance the flavors.
Visit #2 – Friday ~7:30PM | Group of 6
This was a peak dinner time visit—expect a wait if you’re going without a reservation. We waited about an hour to be seated. Thankfully, once we were in, the food was served fast and hot, which we appreciated.
Most of our group ordered Jain preparations, and the kitchen followed all customization requests accurately.
Ordered:
Jain Paneer 65 – Fantastic. Crisp yet soft, well-seasoned, and made perfectly as requested. Definitely recommend this one.
Jain Hakka Noodles – Tasted okay. Nothing special, but did the job.
Jain Manchurian Gravy – Delivered as per our requirements. Mild spice, tangy sauce.
Regular Veg Manchurian with Gravy – The first serving lacked salt and had oddly sweet manchurian balls. We flagged it, and the team replaced it without hassle—props to the service team.
Chili Garlic Noodles – Well made, spicy and satisfying.
American Chopsuey – Regretted this one. Way too sweet and lacked the tangy-spicy flavor that you'd expect. Wouldn’t order again.
🎂 Special Mention – Birthday Surprise: We mentioned a birthday in our group, and the restaurant offered a complimentary plate of Rasmalai. It was soft, creamy, and subtly sweet—easily a 5/5 dessert experience.
Drinks: Virgin Pina Colada – Creamy and refreshing. Solid 4/5. Mango Lemonade (I think) – Nicely balanced and fruity.
Overall: Food quality is solid, customizations respected, and portions match pricing well. Some hits, a few misses, but definitely worth visiting—especially for spicy rice dishes and...
Read moreMe and My husband recently had the pleasure of dining at Inchin's Bamboo Restaurant and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. Our server, Kathya, was attentive, friendly, and made sure that we had a memorable dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the food. We ordered a variety of dishes and each one exceeded our expectations. The Dragon's Milk cocktail was a perfect start to our meal. Its unique blend of flavors left us craving for more. The Far East Move-Mint was a refreshing and delightful beverage that perfectly complemented our meal.
Moving on to the appetizers, the Pan Fry Chilli Paneer was an absolute delight. The paneer was perfectly cooked and had a wonderful balance of spices. It was a great choice to kickstart our culinary journey. The Lat Mai Paneer was another standout dish. The flavors were rich and aromatic, and the paneer was incredibly tender. It was evident that the chefs at Inchin's Bamboo Restaurant pay attention to detail and strive for perfection.
As for the main course, the Mixed Chicken Garlic Noodle was a true highlight. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the garlic-infused sauce added a delightful burst of flavor to every bite. The dish was well-balanced and left us completely satisfied.
Throughout our meal, Kathya ensured that we had everything we needed. She was knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations when we were unsure of what to order. Her attentive and friendly service truly enhanced our dining experience.
Overall, I highly recommend Inchin's Bamboo Restaurant. The food is outstanding, with a great variety of flavors and textures that will please any palate. The service provided by Kathya was exceptional, and we felt well taken care of throughout our visit. Whether you're looking for a casual dinner or a special occasion, this restaurant is definitely...
Read moreThey keep flagging my review. I guess the truth hurts. Went for lunch on 5/8/25. Nice layout. Expensive. Food is bad. Small portions. More rice than meat. Service is insulting and terrible. The hot and sour soup is just brown salt brine. The orange shrimp was brought out with the shrimp luke warm and the sauce scalding hot. That happens when the shrimp is pre cooked and the orange sauce is kept hot in a bucket then spooned over the shrimp. The scalding hot orange sauce burned my face, lip, and tongue. When the waiter came by I asked for the check and explained that I got burned, he tried to tell me that food gets hot when it's cooked. I would never have known how a stove works without that response. I told the waiter that's not how this works and that when something is hot enough to hurt a guy, you gotta give some kind of warning. He thought it was funny - stood there smirking at me like he could barely hold back the laughter. I paid the bill. I asked to speak to the manager. She had me standing there quite a while while she tried to wait me out, like I'd leave. Nope. I explained what happened and gave the same discussion. I told her that I wasn't even mad until the waiter decided that it was funny. She started giving me that 'about to crack up face' and I told her - 'I'm not a tiktok reel. I'm a man. And this isn't ok.' and I left. Since when is it ok to burn a customer and laugh at them? Hopefully the owners of this place get some more experienced staff in there. I won't be going back. But replacing these bad employees may just keep them from losing...
