Sourdough & Co. Belmont — Restaurant in Belmont

I've been to several of the Sourdough & Co. places in the Bay Area, but I had a particularly good experience at the Belmont location on my last visit. Before I go into that story, one of the best things about S&Co is that you can buy a 4" sub. Sometimes you just don't want (or need) to fill up with a big glob of bread and meat for lunch and that 4" size hits just right. Not enough to make you feel like taking a big nap, but enough to fill you up and re-energize you for the afternoon. While I was waiting after placing my order, it seems another customer, who may have been in a hurry and/or didn't accurately hear the name being called out, made off with my sandwich! Sourdough & Co has quickly become one of my favorite go-to spots in Belmont. The sandwiches are incredibly fresh, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. The location is perfect—especially for a casual, post-school lunch or a quick stop with the family.

I brought my wife here just a few weeks after they opened, and now it’s our go-to sandwich spot whenever the craving hits. Went there on the opening day in Belmont last week & have never heard of them before, but they have several other locations. The turkey sandwich was AMAZING!!! But kinda expensive😬 About $15+ with a bag of chips for the 6 inch. A great sandwich though - really fresh bread, high quality turkey (let's face it Turkey lovers, most deli's are high in nitrates and preservatives). Not here.
