Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Beloit

If I could negative stars I would. Usually I have a cooling off period before I write these as I hate posting negative reviews. Let me preface this review with I am the GM of a restaurant and have been in this industry for many years. I understand what a tough job this is. However when you are front facing with a guest/customer in an open area maybe don’t treat the guest/customer like garbage. We are from Canada and frequent the northern states quite a bit. We have also been to many many many Jimmy Johns and never have I had sub par product or treatment like this ever. I’m sorry but this is what happens when you let children run your business, you get what you pay for. I in no way put this experience on Jimmy Johns as your brand is amazing, so well done. To the owner(s) of this store, maybe come watch operations. If this is a corporate store, ooof time to get an operator in that won’t tarnish your brand. I had a lettuce wrap and usually it’s beautiful and full and amazing. It was almost empty and the lettuce was red and soggy. My husbands sandwich was equally as terrible, I also paid for a bottle of Coke that we were never given. I wasn’t about to go back after feeling like I interrupted their day. Ordered for delivery around 1130. I requested it be delivered in the future at 1215-1225. I got a notification stating my order was out for delivery at 1144am. I never received my order. I called the store at 1250, after receiving a notification that my order WAS delivered. They told me the driver was new and they would contact him, she then told me he just left it in the lobby because there was not a buzzer. Unfortunately for that driver, I do not live in a complex that has a lobby. The address is directly to my front door. Ordered online at 8:45 pm. Almost a whole hour goes by and I haven’t heard anyone at the door or no phone call. I decide to call and they tell me “well nobody wanted to answer the door so your food is outside” I asked if they had a cell phone they could’ve called and said they were out there. I was rudely told that not everyone can afford a cell phone and was hung up on! They could of at least called when they made it back to the store and said sorry we knocked an left food there.
