We have been delighted to come across Crow's Burger Shop! Their burgers are the real thing; the perfect example of real old fashioned burgers. Nothing "fast food"-like about this place. Just downright good burgers that are freshly made when you order them, cooked just how you like them, with exactly what you like on them. If you're looking for fancy, schmancy gourmet-type burgers featuring everything but the kitchen sink on them, move along; this isn't the place for you. But if you like a good old-fashioned burger and fries, come try this place out. The lady taking your order at the window is pleasant and sweet, just give her a smile, and she'll return it. This has quickly become a favorite go-to place that we frequent a couple of times a week. Never been disappointed here!

Excellence is all I can say about Crow's Burgers. Ordered double cheeseburger with all the trimmings and fries. Fantastic, melts in my mouth. From viewing this place from the road doesn't look like you would get the food and service that you expect. Very friendly and service is quick. If you are in Belton for a quick bite, this is the place to go. Some picnic tables are in the back if you want to eat there. I will go back again

Local treasure in Belton, Texas. The burgers are old time grease burgers that melt in your mouth and the tots are fried to perfection. Worth the wait, it can get backed up but I rather eat local than franchise anyday. Real meat.

Know what you’re getting before you come here.

First, this is a roadside stand—- NOT a dine-in restaurant. (Similar to a food truck). You have to walk up to a heavily tinted window and wait for it to open before placing your order.

Second, this is a fast food style burger & fries —- not a gourmet burger.

Now about the rating: The cheeseburger is really good. It meets my motto of “If the grease ain’t runny the burger ain’t yummy.” The fries are decent. They were fried just right for their size, but lacked any seasoning that I could taste. I recommend salting them. -The process of ordering was very cumbersome and unfriendly. Not intentionally unfriendly, but not well thought out. At all.

The menu is visible from the parking lot but is not visible from the counter where you place your order, so you need to memorize it or take a picture of it if you need help remembering what’s on the menu.

Half of the items on the menu have no price. Good luck with that. I rolled the dice. It wasn’t expensive, but I typically like knowing how much I’m going to spend before I commit.

Ordering was a little challenging. Being my first time here, I made the mistake of not knowing the menu well enough before I ordered. I approached the heavily tinted order window unsure of whether the burger stand was open or if I was even at the right place to order. I nervously stared at my reflection in the window until someone from the other side eventually slid it open and softly asked how they could help me.

The lady on the other side was difficult to hear and understand, but we worked through it until my order was placed. She can initially come across as unfriendly, but she’s not. It’s just really hard to understand her and the ordering process isn’t set-up well. I’m pretty sure I heard her ask me how my day was as she rang-up my order.

The food was ready as quickly as could be expected. No problem there.

One other unusual quirk occurred though when I asked for mayonnaise after I got my burger. The lady told me that it costs an extra 53 cents. Ketchup was no extra cost, so I guess there’s inflation on mayo, lol.

This place is decent so long as you know...

Giving 5 stars because it’s a hometown favorite and never disappoints, except today. Granted it’s been 5 years since I’ve been here as I moved away. The service was excellent, the lady working today was very courteous the food was DELICIOUS as usually. The only problem is she was working all on her own. It took about 30 min for me to get my food. There were other people in front of me who had clearly been waiting a while. That poor woman was working all alone as fast as she could and still maintained a professional attitude. I overheard her on the phone asking for help and no one was coming. Sad because y’all lost some business during lunch rush today due to being short handed. I watched at least 3 people pull away because of the wait. If I didn’t have my baby with me I would have jumped in there and gotten dirty with her lol. Please whoever owns or manages do better with the schedule. Delicious food and great service. For me it was worth the wait even with a screaming baby...

I HATE whats happened to this place. It used to have the best burgers in the county. I would drive from another county once a month just to eat here. It seems that the owners or managers have just decided to let someone else run it. On one visit the girl taking orders hung out the drive through window talking to someone about her kids for OVER 5 MINUTES, even telling us she'd be with us in a minute. Then a guy storms out the door yelling obscenities, jumped in his car and threw rocks and gravel everywhere as he tore out. Several occasions no one showed up until opening time, then had to wait 25 minutes until grill heated up. Last trip it was 30 minutes after opening time and not a soul in sight. when someone is there they no longer season the meat like they used to, making it nowhere near as good as it was. Such a shame to see what...
