Petrucci's Ice Cream & Water Ice — Restaurant in Bensalem Township

I would stay away from this ice cream place. My family has been going here for years but recently it went down hill. My wife and kids got ice cream cones here this weekend and the server gave her the cones totally melted without sprinkles when she asked for sprinkles three times. I do not understand how a business can give you a melted cone with it dripping all down the cone. My wife ended up throwing it away. The service was the pits. The guy taking the order who forgot to put on sprinkles then started yelling to my wife that she shorted them 38 cents. In the area from out-of-town (Northern Virginia) for Allen Hopkin’s Super Billiards Expo. Just finishing lunch at nearby Pho Kitchen I googled for ice cream on this beautiful Sunday spring afternoon finding Petrucci’s. What a find! I love everything about the place. The setting in the middle of what appears to be a horse farm with the classic white rail fence that horse farms are known for. I get the drift that Petrucci's is a family business recognized for hand made ice cream. Their menu is extensive and includes shakes, floats, smoothies and more. Best hand dipped ice cream I’ve ever had! I always get the black sweet cherry in a waffle cone. Thankfully my people let me try theirs because I am just hooked on the hand dipped Black Sweet Cherry in a waffle cone. The seasonal fav is the pumpkin which taste like pumpkin pie heaven.
