As someone who’s worked in 5 star fine-dining for years, I like to think I can recognize and appreciate a good server when I meet one. But on the same token, I also have even more disrespect for a bad one. In all my years of dining out, never have I EVER experienced worse service than what Chris provided. He could not have been more rude from the moment we were seated, we never saw him between taking our order and dropping off our check. He never once checked on us while enjoying our appetizers, nor entrees. As he was about to grab our check, again without saying a word to us, I stopped him and addressed his attitude, asking if we’d done something to warrant his less than satisfactory service. At that point, instead of recognizing he was in the wrong, or simply apologizing even if he didn’t believe he was, he told me “I worked at a steakhouse in Chicago for 2 years. Top in the country”, though I’m still confused how this was pertinent information to me, and added on more snarky, sarcastic, downright rude commentary, finishing off with “cheers!” As he snatched the checkbook out of my hand and stormed off. I’m assuming there’s a reason that job in Chicago didn’t last more than 2 years and I’d be appalled if I ever return to this restaurant and see him still there. An absolute shame considering how good this restaurant’s food is and how pleasant all the other staff are. I believe with everything in me, there is a special place in hell for...

We decided to give Patsy’s another try after hearing how good the food is there. We had a great dinner. The service was friendly and the food was outstanding We will certainly go back! Just goes to show that every restaurant can have a bad day but today the restaurant was great!

Yesterday I called Patsy's because there website is so confusing concerning reservations. I may a reservation for 7:00. When we arrived at the restaurant at 7:00 we were told there would be a 20 to 25 minute wait. I asked why and was told we could eat inside which was fine immediately. We were seated and the server brought water and menus. This is where things went bad. We sat there for 20 minutes and the server ignored us. Wouldn't make eye contact so we could even order a drink. The restaurant is small and the other servers looked at us and sort of had the look like that it is not my table. Nobody seemed to care and treated us like we were invisible. We went up to the hostess and told her we were leaving and she just said ok sorry. It is totally unacceptable to sit there for 20 minutes and not even be offered a drink no less take our order Needless to say we can't comment on the food and won't be able to in the future because we are never going back. There is no reason to treat customers like that EDIT: The restaurant did call and said they were sorry and that they wanted us to come back and made a very generous offer. We thanked them...

I had originally been told my table would be ready by 7pm at the latest, but upon arrival I was told to wait an extra 20 minutes which was no trouble at all as I understood the table was finishing up. Returning after 20 minutes I was told to wait another 5-10 minutes and upon returning again in 10 minutes the table was still finishing up so we waited patiently at the entrance. After being seated, it took another 10 minutes for the waitress to show up. She was absent constantly and over the course of a two hour dinner we saw her 5 times in total and were constantly waiting on her. After having an issue with the bill being charged for an item we had not ordered, she was trying to explain it but was slurring her words to a point it was not understandable. I had also asked for the check after ordering a final drink because I knew it would take a while to be processed, but from the time ordered to the time it arrived was another 25 minutes. The food was great but the service was not able to be overlooked as it stretched a meal for two people into...

We visited Patsy’s quite a few times this summer and have added it in to our dinner rotation! The food is great, fresh, and with lots of options. Everyone at the table always enjoys their meal. Martinis are big, strong and taste great, which is appreciated. You must make a reservation in advance since it is a small, popular place. The only downside is that there are limited seats and two of the tables inside are directly under the mini split so you will be blasted by cold air, which is unpleasant and the waitress reported they cannot change the direction of the air. However, this is a non issue as long as you are at any other table. It can also be very loud inside depending on the crowd so it can be difficult to have table conversation. I suggest choosing outdoor seating when the weather is pleasant. There is paid parking since the restaurant is down town.

Dinner was amazing! Wife and I sat inside next to bar and initially we were disappointed we couldn't sit on their porch which obviously had been booked. Ended up that sitting inside was awesome. Mojito was spot on. Cream of crab soup with bread and fried green tomatoes got us going. I had Maryland rockfish with a smokey tomato broth and veggie succotach. She had a tomato based eggplant dish that she loved.. I was completely enamored with the service and food. Place is quant, eclectic and a foodie haven. If you get the chance, do make a reservation and enjoy a really nice place for a tasty dinner in a really cool atmosphere. Didn't have room for dessert. I'll be back!

Any restaurant named "Patsy's" is usually great, and this was no exception. The food was simply amazing. I had the Giant Dino Beef Rib as my main, and it was moist, tender and included a tangy chipotle barbecue sauce that was out of this world. Others in our party had the Herb Crusted Tuna which was also delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was super friendly and consistently accommodating throughout the meal. This place is a gem in the heart of Bethany Beach and I highly recommend.
