Sweet Beverly Cafe — Restaurant in Beverly Hills

This cafe has great food, a great menu and a lot of options to choose from. My mom and my brother go there weekly with my kids and nephews. We had lunch there this past weekend and I was completely taken aback by the poor service and treatment I got from the head chef. We had ordered over $200 worth of food for lunch as we were a large party. My son didn’t like his pizza and wanted to switch it our for something else. The head chef told me I was lying and that I waited over an hour and that the pizza was cold. I had just gotten the pizza the box was still hot and untouched. I was completely offended by his reaction. After all the business we give this establishment and the amount we just spent their on lunch, I really didn’t expect to be treated that way. I refuse to go back there and will make sure my friends and family don’t go back either. The head chef replaced the pizza with a crepe I requested but he was so rude about it saying that he rikishi fo it ever again and made me feel awful. This is not the experience I wished to have. Stopped at this lovely cafe located at the Montage Hotel Courtyard complex. Very reasonable prices, considering it is located in Beverly Hills! My cheeseburger was DELICIOUS and came with potato chips. All of the staff on duty were polite amd accommodating. Food orders are done at the counter (Self Service) amd customers pick up food when name called. This is the first restaurant that I have EVER eate at that doesn't accept tips (!) The adjacent courtyard has a beautiful fountain. All tables are OUTDOORS. Prime location for 'people watching'. There are large containers of waters with plastic cups (Serve yourself) which allows some additional savings. Very pleased with entire experience!
