This place can be very hit or miss. The food is great, but the service is the hit or miss issue. While some are nice, there are others who will flat out ignore you for what I'm guessing are friends. It's a shame since it's usually 3 of the girls they use in their photo promos everywhere who make you feel unwelcome. We have had to actually get up and chase them down just to get an order, refill, or check because they tend to focus more on certain tables. During our last visit, we sat at a table making eye contact (and even saying hello) with 3 different servers for about 20 minutes with no acknowledgment. Finally we moved to the bar where the bartenders were immediately welcoming and provided great service! The bartenders and the attendants working in the casino - along with the great food- are the only reason we keep giving the place another try. If you don't want to risk the possible bad experience, definitely try their other restaurant that is right next door (just walk through the casino from Hooligans). It's filled Montana Brewing Company and the food is just as great but with a much more family friendly and...
Read moreFood service was really slow and 4 out of 5 meals were cold. We asked if our food was coming they said yes they are working on it. I ask to please make sure its hot. I saw my food sitting on the warm in the kitchen for 15 mins. Then they brought our food and 4 of 5 meals were cold.I was not pleased.. Maybe some people don't care or may just not return . Then they brought the bill and politely asked if we needed a box. The coleslaw tasted a bit off which I got up to tell another lady. Oh no we need to check in to that. Not concerned that we were served it It would be nice if they would have apologized for the food being cold not make me feel as...
Read moreWe used to visit Hooligan's regularly about 10 years ago and decided to come back for a Sunday to watch football. Boy, have things gone downhill.
Our server seemed to not realize (or care) that we were staying for the game and insisted on visiting the table five times in the first 15 minutes to get a food order, even though we said we were waiting. And I ordered a "Cider Mule", which had no cider to taste, and flat ginger beer. But our food was much worse.
Everything we ordered was fried, and it all tasted burned - their frying oil desperately needs to be changed. Scotch eggs, chips, wings - everything had the same awful flavor. And 8 wings for $16 is just absurd, especially when 1/3 of them are broken bones.
After not coming here for 10 years, we won't be back...
