Armond's is serving up old school fried chicken (not from a pressure fryer) and they do it very well. Both the bone in and strip varieties are pretty darn good, and I like the fries as well. I haven't tried the fried shrimp yet, but I doubt it will disappoint.
The restaurant opens at 11, and closes whenever everyone leaves. Half of the restaurant is a bar with a stage open to local musicians to come jam, so everyone leaving might be very late at night.
Park across the street at the public safety building if the few spots at the building are taken.

It felt like you were listening to a 70s Rock n Roll band before it was discovered and hit the "Big Time". Then you order your chicken tenders dinner and later it is delivered by friendly "Kathy" and you realize that they should rename it to "Chicken CHUNKS". It was downright good. I am going back with my friends and family. I recommend you...
