The owner of this location, who also works the parking lot was so incredibly rude and insulting on my most recent (and last) visit to the Inverness store. With the new parking lot/drive thru set up, it is quite confusing trying to navigate thru the 280 lunch crowd. After circling the entire store to attempt to get in the drive thru line, I came across a car stopped, with no cars in front of them and no clear idea of where or what they were doing, so I went around them. That is when I was approached by the owner/parking lot attendant (after calling and speaking with the manager I found out he is the owner of this location). I was immediately met with a derogatory tone "I'm trying to figure out who you think you are and what you think you are doing?" I apologized and said I was trying to go to the drive thru and was unsure what the car in front of me was doing. He continued to belittle me and and question how I thought I was more important. I again apologized for not understanding and that I was simply trying to go to the drive thru. He then directed me to exit the parking lot, again in a very belittling tone. As I began to drive off, another worker who was not involved in our conversation yelled a derogatory comment to me, which was the most insulting and uncalled for remark. All of this could have been avoided had the owner/parking lot attendant approached me with a bit more respect and understanding that humans make mistakes. He has no clue what I may or may not be dealing with and in times of uncertainty, I would hope that we could all give others a bit more grace rather than speaking to them like they aren't worthy of a bit of respect. As a successful, professional women, I have NEVER been spoken to in that tone by a man, much less a business owner and will not be returning to this...
Read moreI will not be dining here ever again which is really sad because it is less than 5 minutes from where I live. I have been living on 280 for two years and going to this location minimum twice a week. When I go, I place mobile orders to get through the line faster, as I did today. As I was in line, I noticed someone in the opposite lane also had a mobile order. I’m two cars behind them and I’ve been sitting in the drive thru line for so long that I had to put my car in park. CFA has never taken that long and it was very unusual. When I get around the corner I see it was the other mobile order that had taken so long at the window. By the time I get up there, the very unprofessional and rude lady at the window informed me that I owed $35. I told her the order was placed through my app and already paid for. She fought with me and so I decided to just give her my card. You would think if I owed for my meal, she would be able to just swipe my card and be done but no she had to call a manager over to get to another screen to approve payment. That’s weird. As they are trying to charge me, I pull up my app and show them where it says Apple Pay but that wasn’t enough so I pull up my Apple Pay and show the receipt with the full $35 amount. After showing them actual proof that I paid my full amount, they stared at me like I was still in the wrong. The manager did nothing to apologize or even recognize that it was their fault. I basically had to ask for a refund. And I fully believe they double charged the mobile order ahead of me and that’s what took so long. After all of that, I get home and I’m missing literally half my order. I will never be back simply due to how the manager mishandled the situation with lack of...
Read moreLet me start with I HATE FAST FOOD. Usually it is an irritating experience resulting in eating tasteless, cold, old, dry food after the insult of being treated rudely for spending your money. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE HERE! I was on a road trip, and figured this would be the least of the evils of fast food. It was lunch rush, place was packed, drive through line was out to the road. Walking in I was greeted from the counter, a very pleasant girl politely took my order, made a suggestion about my choices, rang me up and said the words seldom heard anymore... “THANK YOU”!! When she saw I was wearing a support Boot on my right foot, she told me to have a seat and she would bring me my meal. She immediately made my drink and within 3 minutes brought my meal to me at my table. The dining room was very busy, however as soon as a table emptied, an employee washed the table and made it ready for the next customer. More importantly, my food was Hot, Fresh and correct! Also a rarity in today’s service industry. The chicken wrap had a Fresh tortilla around it, hot chicken inside, fresh crisp lettuce & tomatoes. The sauce choice she suggested was spot on. As I ate my lunch I watched as the other employees were courteous, helpful and WORKING! THIS is the model all fast food should aspire to. As I left I had to tell the manager what a great job he was doing and that I was pleasantly surprised. He even asked what they did right? Great team! Great job Chick-fil-A on 280 off 459...
