Courtyard Oyster Bar — Restaurant in Birmingham

Me and my husband went here for the 1st time and we had a bad experience. I've always go to the one in Alabaster but decided to try the one off 280. We ordered some queso dip and 12 wings, our total came out to be 29 dollars. Queso dip was 7 dollars and wings were suppose to been 10 dollars we didn't order anything extra. The girl that took our order then gave us a half printed receipt which you couldn't see nothing on it. I think she gave herself a tip off of my debit card without my acknowledge. Before we ordered our food we order 2 drinks which they don't even have a menu for or a price of what you're ordering. The total came to be 12 dollars. Like why sell someone beverages and there's no menu for what you want in sight. After finishing our drinks there was this one lady who had on a yellow pullover that put her hand down in her pants to fix her underclothes at the bar. She didn't wash her hands at all, then to make things worse she pursue to get ice out of the cooler where they scoop ice from to serve drinks. She went from one cooler to the next with the same hand she use to reach down in her pants with. How disgusting!!!!! I will never recommend no one to ever visit this place. Worse...

Bar Staff served beverages to on duty police officers while they played pool. When a group of people came to our pool table unprovoked and got in my wife's face, my brother and I stepped in front of them. I believe the people thought she was someone else because we did not know them. The police officers in the bar allowed the group to body check and harass us while they paid attention to my wife instead who was scared and uncomfortable. The bar security claimed that we had to leave because she was 'combative' just because she was scared and telling them to look at my and my brother and help us get the group of people who approached us unprovoked off of us and away from the table where we had been playing for hours. I have never experienced such TERRIBLE service like the service that I received tonight at this establishment. Not only was the server unwelcoming, my drink had particles floating in the cup. The server walked away before I could finish, saying the second half of my drink order like who does that. It was not a busy night. We sat at the bar and had to beg to get help. This server did not come over to take our order. When they finally did, they claimed that, although they do have raw oysters and fried oysters, they would not be seasoning the oysters tonight. Which does not make sense as it’s less work to season oysters than it is to fry them. We left immediately without ordering food. 10 out of 10 do...
