Painted Tree Boutique is a chain of retail spaces that function as a marketplace for hundreds of small business owners and creators. It's often described as a "physical Etsy or Pinterest brought to life," but I see it more as a cross between a spring craft fair and an upscale flea market. The experience is kind of a treasure hunt, and there are lots of really cool and unique gift ideas there. We’ve been to one in Florida and the experience is similar. The Birmingham location offers a wide variety of items, including homemade goods from local artisans, home decor, clothing, antiques, vintage finds, pet stuff, food goods, Alabama and Auburn swag, and other unique gifts. Dummy cameras definitely contribute to a false sense of security and or constantly being monitored, which are equally bad. Keep in mind, If a shop or business prominently displays fake security cameras to mislead customers into believing they’re being monitored, it could be considered false advertising or deceptive business practices which could lead to complaints and potential legal action from consumers.
