If I could leave zero stars I would! I have never experienced such disrespect in my life. Came in order 2 soft tacos, two bean burritos, a burrito supreme, 2 hard shell tacos and a quesadillas. They put the bean burritos on soft shell tacos. No actual soft shell tacos, only one hard shell. No actually bean and cheese burritos, no actual supreme burritos (some kinda rice and cheese thing. Not at all what we ordered. Called the store, informed the person that answered but she was (talking poorly about me in the phone while I was on hold) I told my daughter that I didn’t understand what I had done wrong to deserve such unkind things to be said into the phone from a staff member. The manager (at least that what she said) then said “do you have something you wanna say to me” real rude, but I kept my cool ams said, no it’s fine.. she the called me a liar, told me that I should have noticed the order was wrong even tho it was not read back to me.. she told me that I would only be able to get a refund or it remade if i came tonight, it’s now 7:30, my children haven’t ate and it’s their bedtime and we live 30 minutes away from the store. After beginning to tell and talk over me I asked to speak to a manager, she stated I could not. I asked for the contact information for her boss or the franchise owner,she stated that’s illegal. I asked For her name, she refused. I asked for the 800 number to speak with corporate, she told me if I wanted it fixed i would have to deal with her period and tonight. I again reminded her that taco Bell corporate office is a requirement for Her to give me. She said the number is 1800TACOBELL…… IT IS NOT!!! The only number or anything she provided was incorrect and she did it on purpose. Corporates number is a 1866 number…) (all while yelling and cussing) I got upset at this point and requested her name again since she calmed to be the manger to which she refused again. Then she said “you wanna humble under your breath earlier, come say it to my face and with your chest bitc*”! After being threatened my the “manager” I let her know I would be coming in to have this conversation in person As she just asked me to do in so many words.She then said she would call the cops. Have me arrested and removed from the property. She informed me that because of my “bad attitude, I was no longer getting my food remade or refunded. She stole myMoney period. Ams my kids didn’t get the dinner I had already paid for and they really wanted. Screaming into the phone. I responded by informing her I would make it my mission to contact every person above her until something was done… ro which she let me know she would be reaching out to all relevant upper management to ensure I would not be getting anywhere and would be ignored…. I will NEVER go back to this Taco Bell or any other Taco Bell’s ever again after this experience. I will be taking this all the way To the top as I know, because of previous employment that the GM, assistant GM, the 800, ams all upper management contact numbers are posted for ALL Customers inside the store for exactly this type of unprofessionalism, lack of empathy, lack of basic human decency, and Amy sort of compassion ams this is a MANAGER! I will get her name and I will Be taking this to the top. People like this woman should not be employed anywhere that customers service or problem solving is required. Read moreThis is far from the first time I've had issues with this Taco Bell location. I actually have a scratch on my door from a previous experience years ago when my car was brand new, cuz the drive-thru workers left the window open and dropped my Debit card on the ground. But that isn't what today's review is about. This is about what just happened to me. I went to get tacos, cuz I'd been wanting tacos. I get there, order the combo number for 3 Doritos locos tacos supreme, with a Mountain Dew Baja Blast to drink, a cheesy gordita crunch supreme, and the cheesy potatoes. Get up the window to pay, get handed my drink, and right away it looks funny, like the fizz on top looked more like a weird foam. Thought nothing of it, waited on my food, and when the bag was handed to me it looked thinner than you'd expect for that order. I should've checked it then and there but I didn't and that's on me. But I drive all the way home, get inside to eat, and open the bag. My cheesy potatoes were on top, but the rest of the bag looked wrong. I noticed only 3 items, one of which was a burrito, which I did not order. Upon unwrapping the items, it was revealed that I had a burrito, a normal hard shell taco supreme, and a normal gordita crunch that was not supreme. I debated on calling to complain, before finally just saying to heck with it, I'd eat it and write a review, and make sure to check any future orders, if I ever even return to this location. I started with the burrito just to get it out of the way, and it was full of onions. I hate onions. So yes that's just a personal complaint, but I digress. Don't even know what kind of burrito it was, I just know I didn't order it and did not like it. Went for the hard shell taco next, it was at least still supreme, but the shell was in bad shape from the meat. Then I ate the gordita, only then noticing that it did not have tomatoes and sour cream, and was spicier than normal. Even the potatoes were somewhat mushier than usual. Oh and I forgot to mention, that foam on top of my drink? Was still there. And my drink tastes of soap. So I have a Mountain Dew Soapy Blast to drink. Not to mention I was not given a receipt, so I have no way of proving that I was given the wrong order. I love Taco Bell, but the Black Mountain location has been trouble for years, and I'm tired of giving my business just to be disappointed and done wrong. So they close at midnight (I hadn't looked, but know now), I was hoping it was later as I got off work at 0:20 and was hoping to grab a snack on the way home. As I pull up at 0:35 the lights are on in the kitchen and the neon sign in the road facing window says "drive thru open". I'm in luck! Pull around to the order point and an automated voice thanks me for my visit but tells me they are closed. This Taco Bell is one that the driver thru is one car wide and they is no way to pull out except pulling thru. As I'm pulling by the window a staff member is within arms reach of the window, so I stop and try to tell them the sign is still on. He can't hear me with the window closed, but moths they are closed, I try repeating your sign is on, can't hear me but won't open the window. I know it's probably a minimum wage job and he was wanting to get done and get home, but still all I'm getting is"we're closed" and "I can't"(referring to either hear me or open the window, I don't know).
Yes I have visited one other time in the last 12 months and didn't have issues, hence the food and atmosphere scores.
Old post (8/2022) Third time in 2 months I've tried to use the app to put an order in so I didn't have to wait in the drive-thru. First when I canceled because store closed early. Second wouldn't never process correctly in the app. Then the last one go to the store to pick up after I had selected in store pickup only to find out they're only doing drive-thru. Got asked to pull back around front and wait for my order to come through because it hadn't come through yet. Waited 10 minutes with no notification from the staff still shows my order is being processed and prepared. Come back to the drive-thru try to explain to the speaker what's going on. The staff were helpful and understanding but couldn't find the information. After half an hour of waiting and not even being able to cancel the order I left. 30 minutes after I leave I get a notification of my orders ready. Call and speak to a manager know we're already making your order. Decide I'm not going to waste the money so I drive back to the store.
