It was just by chance that I walked into Stephanie’s shop. I think this is one of the most unique places I have ever visited. I told my husband that I felt like we became fast friends, and there was a sort of magic to my visit.

As I walked around I noticed that there are treasures almost hidden. Look high and low when you visit Chifferobe. I took home an old horse and carriage clock & the loveliest Italian linen dress. She also stocks the coolest greeting cards with phrases that will make you laugh out loud!

In the mood for a tarot card reading? Donovan, the sweetest soul, is set up in the back of the shop. We had this instant connection. Want a kind and good hearted person!

I was told that even local teens sell their lovely handmade pieces of jewelry here. Supporting local youth says a lot about an owner of a small business.

Chifferobe is the most charming, unique and eclectic shop you will find anywhere. The shop is filled to the brim with anything but ordinary. Great finds from floor to ceiling. I found a 100% pure Italian linen shirt for a great price that I create reasons in life to wear as often as possible. You will find the perfect something there no matter who you are. That shop has it all! And the store proprietor, Stephanie is a personality you will not soon forget. She is warm, caring and full of love for her community in Black Mountain. Definitely a must see spot when visiting this small...

I ADORE Chifferobe Home and Garden! There are so many unique gift choices! It has to be my favorite store to find clothes, funny cards, towels, pottery, hats, soap (to die for), and much more!
