Generally I like the place (John and Evan are great) but just a few minutes ago I went in there to get some Lagunitas and coincidentally watch the VT rugby game. I see an older guy with a beard, glasses, and a cap on taking care of something at the register. Probably taking care of day shift paperwork, I assume. I politely say "excuse me sir" and wave to him as we meet eyes through the mirror. He looks at me sternly and with an agitated voice says, "Hold on a minute. I'm in the middle of something." Read moreBEST burgers in Blacksburg, hands down. To-go containers are cardboard. I loved this place as the London Underground and I love it still. It has a local pub atmosphere, a good selection of beers on tap, the staff are all friendly. Their food is delicious and I'm not lying with my opening statement - I've been in Blacksburg for over a decade and this burger is my go-to. They don't deliver, but there's parking behind the building and it's within easy walking distance of the lot behind Sharkey's. The staff are friendly, the bartender is a hard-workin' dude - this is definitely one of my favorite local spots. It's worth swinging by on...
