If you are a pizza lover and don't have a lot of money, then you definitely should go to Italia Pizza! You'll have the best pizza of your life! This place was recommended by the locals! I totally agree with them, it was awesome! The restaurant was not that big and fancy, but the owner was very gracious, open-minded, and paid attention to his craft. I ordered a slice of White Pizza. It was made of two kinds of cheese, Ricotta and Mozzarella. It was very rich and cheesy! Ricotta cheese melted like velvety ice cream. Moreover the size of a slice was as large as a sheet of paper, so one slice of pizza could easily make you feel full! It costs you a reasonable $3.25 with tax. Although I gave five stars, the place was old and needed some renovation. I visited this place one more time with my colleagues, all of them loved the pizza there! I strongly recommended the White Pizza and the Margarita Pizza. The Margarita pizza was so crunchy and the pizza sauce was delicious and tangy....
Read moreMy brother in law and I stopped by here while driving from Albany, NY to Washington, DC. I wanted to skip rest stop pizza so while in New Jersey, we figured we would look into local pizza shops close to Garden State Parkway. This place has high ratings so we thought we would check it out. We got a large pie, half cheese and the other half with mushrooms. As we rolled in, the outside of the shop looks elegant. Inside, it appears to be more of a place for pick up and delivery rather than to sit in and eat, though there were some tables and chairs set up. The gentleman behind the counter was super nice, pleasant, and friendly. We placed our order and just waited. 10 minutes later the pizza was ready. I must say that the cheese pizza was fantastic. Nothing wrong with the mushroom side but the cheese half was outstanding. I would definitely stop by this place again if given the...
Read morePerhaps the most delicious pizza my family has had the pleasure of enjoying in Bloomfield. The owner, a giant of a man (to which my wife calls the place now "Giant's pizza"), was incredibly kind and patient despite the busyness of the establishment. We went during COVID and winter, so people were spaced apart (great 👍) and there was no outdoor seating (to be expected). To judge a pizza place, we always start with their plain pizza. Sure there are many places that make amazing variations of pizza, but if they can't make a simple plain, it's not worth our time to try anything else there. Fortunately for our family, "Italia Pizza" understood the basics. The pizza wasn't too oily, with the crust not too thick, and just enough cheese that completed the package for us. To our standards "Italia Pizza" and we got to enjoy a pepperoni pizza next without fear of disappointment, all at a...
